FREE 7/4 LoL Cheatsheet: Top DFS Plays

Thursday marks the first rounds LoL for the new Esports World Cup. Below you will find my breakdown for the 2 game Thursday slate. The tools found at DFSHero.com help with identifying the top LoL plays for each slate.

LoL Strategy:

Just like with other DFS sports, LoL has specific build types that tend to be more successful over a long period of time. In these breakdowns, top stacks is what will be discussed the most. If you are new to LoL, I recommend to read the strategy article that DFS Hero provides, League of Legends (LoL) DFS Strategy.

Thursday:

Game 1: BLG -155 vs. T1 +155

LPL #1 vs. LCK #2

Notes: Based on win percentage here, we should be targeting BLG stacks for game 1. Both of these teams tend to be scrappy, and T1 is no slouch, so an upset is possible, but more stacks of BLG should be the goal when making your lineups. BLG is the most expensive team on the slate, so you will either need a value stack, or to get to a cheaper jungle captain.

Game 2: FNC -120 vs. TL +120

LEC #2 vs LCS #1

Notes: FNC is slightly favored to win and is therefore slightly more expensive than TL, however, this exact game played out a little over a month ago and TL came out on top. This is truly a 50/50 game, and you could use the savings from TL to get to more expensive BLG captains. FNC is probably the go to in Single Entry because they are slightly favored.
