SP:
Zach Wheeler, Phillies (DK: $10,100 | FD: $11,300)
Bryan Woo, Mariners (DK: $8,800 | FD: $10,800)
Cody Bradford, Rangers (DK: $8,500 | FD: $9,700)
Notes:
The DFS Hero Optimizer projects Wheeler to be the top scoring pitcher and projects Woo and Bradford to finish in the top 5. Woo and Bradford have matchup in which they could be dominant.
Stacks
Baltimore Orioles vs. Colorado Rockies
Chicago White Sox vs. New York Mets
Minnesota Twins vs. Toronto Blue Jays
Notes:
The DFS Hero Optimizer projects the Orioles to top the slate is scoring by over 1 run. Expect them to score 6 plus runs. The White Sox and Twins have the highest projected value. I think the Twins will be a great secondary option to Oriole stacks.
C:
Adley Rutschman, Orioles (DK: $5,900 | FD: $3,600)
William Contreras, Brewers (DK: $5,300 | FD: $3,300)
Notes:
These two are the top projected scoring catchers. Contreras is always sneaky to have a big night.
1B:
Pete Alonso, Mets (DK: $5,300 | FD: $3,400)
Ryan O’Hearn, Orioles (DK: $4,800 | FD: $3,300)
Notes:
Alonso is the top projected first baseman and O’Hearn will have less than 10% ownership in Coors Field.
2B:
Jonathan India, Reds (DK: $5,000 | FD: $3,000)
Brendan Rodgers, Rockies (DK: $4,700 | FD: $2,700)
Notes:
India is the top projected second baseman while Rodgers is third. Look at these FD prices. I would play them both using one in the utility slot. You can easily afford an Oriole stack in that situation.
3B:
Royce Lewis, Twins (DK: $5,200 | FD: $3,300)
Mark Vientos, Mets (DK: $4,700 | FD: $3,300)
Notes:
Lewis is the top projected scoring third baseman, and I think he will hit a home run tonight. Vientos is projected second and has a slightly higher projected value.
SS:
Francisco Lindor, Mets (DK: $5,800 | FD: $3,800)
Willy Adames, Brewers (DK: $4,700 | FD: $3,500)
Notes:
Lindor is the top projected shortstop, and Adames is my click to click. If you are playing Contreras at catcher, then go ahead and stack him with Adames.
OF:
Anthony Santander, Orioles (DK: $6,000 | FD: $4,100)
Colton Cowser, Orioles (DK: $5,600 | FD: $3,500)
Corbin Carroll, Diamondbacks (DK: $5,400 | FD: $3,400)
Cedric Mullins, Orioles (DK: $4,700 | FD: $3,300)
Luis Robert Jr., White Sox (DK: $4,200 | FD: $3,400)
Notes:
The Orioles have the highest team stack projection, and I think it starts with their outfield. Carroll and Roberts will be lower owned pivot options who have solid projections.
Value Players:
2B Edouard Julien, Twins (DK: $2,700 | FD: No Play)
1B Ty France, Reds (DK: $2,800 | FD: $2,500)
OF Andrew Benintendi, White Sox (DK: $2,900 | FD: $2,700)
OF Garrett Mitchell, Brewers (DK: $3,000 | FD: $2,400)
OF Trevor Larnach, Twins (DK: $3,100 | FD: $3,000)
C Francisco Alvarez, Mets (DK: $3,200 | FD: No Play)
SP Edward Cabrera, Marlins (DK: $6,800 | FD: $7,400)
Notes:
These are the top projected players at their positions. Julien is a pivot option in DK only as FD has a ton of value at that position. Cabrera is interesting because he is boom or bust but does have a prop of 6 strikeouts giving him a chance to break the slate with a strong performance.
