December 28, 2024
Get ready to lock in your lineups, because tonight’s NBA slate is loaded with potential. Whether you’re aiming for cash-game consistency or GPP upside, this cheat sheet will walk you through the top guard, forward, and center options, along with some enticing PrizePicks props to help you crush your contests. Let’s dive in!
Guards
SG/PG Collin Sexton, Utah Jazz vs. Philadelphia 76ers ($6K FD/$6.2K DK)
Sexton has put up some great fantasy numbers over the last four games. He registered no less than 34 fantasy points over that stretch. Keyonte George and Jordan Clarkson have been in and out of the lineup lately leaving Sexton to pick up the slack. George and Clarkson are questionable for tonight’s matchup, but whether they play or not should not impact Sexton’s production too much against the Sixers.
PG/SG/SF Shaedon Sharpe, Portland Trail Blazers vs. Dallas Mavericks ($6.3K FD/$5.7K DK)
Sharpe has scored at least 25 points in three of his last four games, chipping in some rebounds and assists to boost his fantasy score. Sharpe has a favorable matchup against Kyrie Irving, who boasts a defensive rating of 115 this season so far. Irving will also be called upon to fill the shoes of Luka Doncic, who will be missing a month due to injury. As long as Sharpe does the little things on the court, the points will be there in the box score and on the fantasy box score.
Forwards
SF/SG Bilal Coulibaly, Washington Wizards vs. New York Knicks ($6.5K FD/$6.3K DK)
Coulibaly is having a nice sophomore season including a nice stretch of games in December. He has scored in double figures in his last six games, and he is pulling down around five rebounds and dishing out about five assists during this stretch. Coulibaly has a tall task against the Knicks, but he has been consistent against good teams like Boston and Cleveland. Take a chance on the young Wizard.
SF/SG Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks @ Chicago Bulls ($6.4K FD/$6.7K DK)
Middleton has appeared in eight games this season, but has yet to play more than 26 minutes in a game. Middleton has played at least 23 minutes in four of his games, and he has scored at least 30 fantasy points in each of those. Middleton’s minutes have increased of late which bodes well for his fantasy value. In his last outing against the Bulls on December 23rd, Middleton scored 21 points, grabbed five rebounds, and handed out five assists. Add Middleton to your lineup today.
Centers
C Deandre Ayton, Portland Trail Blazers vs. Dallas Mavericks ($6.7K FD/$6.6K DK)
Ayton recently put up 16 points and nine rebounds against the Mavericks just five days ago. Now, Ayton could be matching up against Daniel Gafford instead of Derek Lively as he deals with a hip injury. Regardless, Ayton should put up some nice numbers that would be serviceable for your lineup today.
PrizePicks
Damian Lillard OVER 23.5 points
Giannis could miss yet another game with illness putting the onus on Lillard to carry the scoring.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 30.5 points
SGA is coming off back-to-back 40 point performances. He faces another bad team, and SGA dominates bad teams.
Tyler Herro OVER 24.5 points
Herro is averaging around 29 points against Atlanta in three games against them this season.
