FREE 12/29 NFL DFS Week 17 Preview: High, Mid, Low Options

This article will focus on three players in each position using Draft King’s pricing for the Sunday 1 p.m. slate. We will provide one high, medium, and low pricing option based on matchups and game theory from top to bottom.

Note: Double stacking is playing a QB with 2 two additional players from the same offense. So, you would play QB Joe Burrow, WR Ja’Marr Chase, and WR Tee Higgins. When double stacking, always play a player from the opposing team, preferably a WR. 40% of the Millionaire contest-winning lineups were double stacked.

Now that we’ve done the housekeeping let’s get into week 17.

QB Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills ($8,500)

Allen has a great matchup at home against the Jets. He is averaging more than 32 fantasy points per game over the last five games. Vegas has the Bills with the second-highest projected points on the slate.

**Single stack** RB James Cook, TE Dalton Kincaid

QB Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers ($6,200)

Love has a great matchup on the road in Minnesota. In week 4, he threw for over 380 yards and 4 TDs against the Vikings. Vegas has this game with the highest projected total on the slate.

**Double stack** WR Jayden Reed, TE Tucker Kraft

QB Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets ($5,700)

Rodgers has a decent matchup on the road in Buffalo. He is averaging 21 fantasy points per game over the three games. If this is Rodgers’ last game, he will want to go out with a bang!

**Double Stack** WR Davante Adams, WR Garrett Wilson

RB Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles ($8,600)

Bakely has a good matchup this week at home against the Cowboys. He is averaging more than 27 fantasy points per game in his last six games. Consider Barkley a GGP.

RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts ($7,900)

Taylor had over 200 yards and 3 TD last week. He has a great matchup this week on the road against the Giants. I think we can go back to Taylor this week.

RB Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($6,700)

Irving has a great matchup this week at home against Carolina. In week 13, he had a 30-fantasy point performance against the Panthers. Irving is almost a lock.

WR Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings ($8,300)

Jefferson has a good matchup this week at home against Green Bay. He is averaging more than 31 fantasy points per game over the last three games. In week 4, Jefferson had 6 receptions for 85 yards and a TD against the Packers.

WR Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars ($6,800)

Thomas has a great matchup at home this week against Tennessee. He is averaging 33 fantasy points per game over the last two games. In week 14, Thomas had 8 repetitions and 86 receiving yards against the Titans. Thomas is almost a lock!

WR Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers ($5,700)

Thielen has a good matchup this week against Tampa Bay. He is averaging almost 18 fantasy points per game over the last 4 games. In week 13, Thielen had 8 receptions for 99 receiving yards and a TD.

Honorable Mention: Mike Evans, Jordan Addison, Calvin Ridley

TE Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders ($6,700)

Bowers has a decent matchup this week on the road in New Orleans. He is averaging almost 17 fantasy points per game over the last four games. Consider Bowers a GPP play.

TE T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings ($4,500)

Hockenson has a good matchup this week at home against Green Bay. In week 8, he had 6 receptions for 88 receiving yards and a TD against the Packers.

TE Chig Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans ($3,600)

Okonkwo has a great matchup this week on the road against the Jaguars. He is averaging 16 fantasy points per game over the last two games. Consider Okonkwo a man of interest.

Honorable mention: Tucker Kraft

Philadelphia Eagles DEF ($3,100)

The Eagles’ defense has 7 sacks and forced 7 turnovers in the last four games. They should control this game at home against the Cowboys.

Las Vegas Raiders DEF ($2,600)

The Raiders’ defense had 12 sacks and 6 turnovers over the last four games. They should control the game against the struggling Saints’ offense.

Dallas Cowboys DEF ($2,500)

The Cowboys’ defense is averaging more than 13 fantasy points per game over the last five games. In week 10, they had 5 sacks and forced 2 turnovers against the Eagles.
