SP:

Nick Pivetta, Red Sox (DK: $7,500 | FD: $9,400)

Zach Eflin, Orioles (DK: $6,900 | FD: $8,400)

Notes: I am fading Phillies SP Zack Wheeler as the DFS Hero Optimizer projects his ownership at over 60%. Eflin is coming off a great start and has the highest projected value. Pivetta does have high strikeout upside.

Stacks:

Minnesota Twins vs. Texas Rangers

Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Notes: Most DFS players will roster the Phillies and the Orioles tonight. The Twins have the highest projected stack value according to the optimizer. If we are fading Wheeler, then it only makes sense to have some Washington stacks.

C:

Jonah Heim, Rangers (DK: $3,100 | FD: $2,700)

Keibert Ruiz, Nationals (DK: $3,200 | FD: $2,700)

Notes: Catcher is generally a good position to fade the top-priced players. DraftKings overprices them, in my opinion. The Optimizer projects Ruiz and Heim as the top 3 values.

1B:

Nate Lowe, Rangers (DK: $3,600 | FD: $3,000)

Carlos Santana, Twins (DK: $3,400 | FD: $2,800)

Notes: The Optimizer projects Santana to have the most value at first base. Lowe is my personal gut play, and I think he will homer.

2B:

Marcus Semien, Rangers (DK: $4,800 | FD: $3,300)

Luis Garcia, Nationasl (DK: $4,500 | FD: $3,100)

Notes: The top two projected scoring second basemen. I think both may have multi-hit games.

3B:

Alec Bohm, Phillies (DK: $4,900 | FD: $3,300)

Josh Jung, Rangers (DK: $4,200 | FD: $3,100)

Notes: I can’t totally fade the Phillies tonight. I think Bohm has the best night of them all. I am playing Jung every night because he is going to be a 5K player before the season is over.

SS:

CJ Abrams, Nationals (DK: $5,400 | FD: $3,400)

Corey Seager, Rangers (DK: $5,300 | FD: $3,600)

Notes: The DFS Hero Optimizer projects Seager to score the most points among all short stops. If I am fading Wheeler, then I want the best Nat’s player in Abrams.

OF:

Nick Castellanos, Phillies (DK: $4,000 | FD: $3,100)

Adolis Garcia, Rangers (DK: $4,000 | FD: $3,200)

Wyatt Langford, Rangers (DK: $3,900 | FD: $2,900)

Max Kepler, Twins (DK: $3,600 | FD: $2,700)

Notes: I’m not overspending for high-priced outfielders. These players are projected top 10 in value and all can do a lot of damage at the plate.

Value Players:

3B Andres Chaparro, Nationals (DK: $2,000 | FD: $2,100)

2B Kyle Farmer, Twins (DK: $2,100 | FD: $2,100)

SP Mitchell Parker, Nationals (DK: $6,000 | FD: $7,400)

Notes: These are basement bargain players with high projected value. Chaparro is almost a lock-button play, and Parker will have low ownership as he faces the Phillies.
