SP:

Nathan Eovaldi, Rangers (DK: $8,700 | FD: $9,200)

Bailey Ober, Twins (DK: $8,600 | FD: $10,300)

Notes: The DFS Hero Optimizer projects Ober to lead all pitchers in scoring with Eovaldi right behind, which also makes them the top-valued pitchers on the slate. Note that Eovaldi is the top-valued pitcher on FanDuel.

Notes: The Cardinals and Rockies are projected to score the most runs at Coors Field. The Twins are a good pivot because their projection isn’t far off. According to the optimizer, the Angels stack has the most projected value.

Catchers:

Cal Raleigh, Mariners (DK: $4,200 | FD: $3,000)

Ryan Jeffers, Twins (DK: $3,900 | FD: $2,900)

Notes: The two top projected scoring catchers. They both don’t break the bank and have the power to win the cash.

First Base:

Matt Olson, Braves (DK: $5,400 | FD: $3,600)

Paul Goldschmidt, Cardinals (DK: $5,100 | FD: $3,400)

Notes: We must pivot away from Shohei Ohtani, who is priced at $7,500. Goldy is projected to finish second in first base scoring, with Olson third. Olson projects under 5% ownership, with Goldy at 11.

Second Base:

Marcus Semien, Rangers (DK: $4,700 | FD: $3,200)

Brendan Donovan, Cardinals (DK: $4,500 | FD: $3,500)

Notes: Donovan is projected to lead all second basemen in scoring as all players playing at Coors Field get a boost in projections. Semien is projected second in scoring and is a solid pivot.

Third Base:

Royce Lewis, Twins (DK: $4,400 | FD: $3,100)

Matt Chapman, Giants (DK: $4,300 | FD: $3,500)

Notes: I am pivoting away from Coors Field even though Nolan Arenado is the top projected third baseman. Lewis and Chapman have more projected value, and I have a feeling Lewis has a big night.

Shortstop:

Zach Neto, Angels (DK: $4,300 | FD: $3,200)

Notes: You can play Masyn Winn, Cardinals (DK: $4,700 | FD: $3,400), but his price is getting expensive even though he is the top projected shortstop. Neto has a great matchup against the White Sox and has more projected value.

Outfielders:

Julio Rodriguez, Mariners (DK: $4,300 | FD: $3,400)

Taylor Ward, Angels (DK: $4,200 | FD: $3,000)

Luis Robert Jr., White Sox (DK: $4,100 | FD: $3,200)

Lars Nootbar, Cardinals (DK: $4,100 | FD: $3,300)

Notes: These are the most projected outfielders at the 4K price. Tonight, the top outfielders are too overpriced for me.

Value Plays:

2B Kyle Farmer, Twins (DK: $2,200 | FD: $2,400)

OF Manuel Margot, Twins (DK: $2,300 | FD: $2,500)

3B Miguel Vargas, White Sox (DK: $2,500 | FD: $2,600)

1B Niko Kavadas, Angels (DK: $2,500 | FD: $2,600)

1B Andrew Vaughn, White Sox (DK: $3,200 | FD: $2,800)

OF Mike Yastrzemski, Giants (DK: $3,300 | FD: $2,900)

Notes: These are among the most valued players at their positions. I like almost any Twin tonight, and the White Sox/Angels game could be high-scoring.
