FREE 01/04 NBA Cheat Sheet: Top DFS Plays
January 4, 2025

Welcome to today’s NBA breakdown, where we highlight top players and value picks at each position to help you dominate your contests. From consistent scorers to high-upside plays, these selections are backed by stats, matchups, and recent performances. Let’s build those winning lineups!
Guards
SG/SF Mikal Bridges, New York Knicks @ Chicago Bulls ($6.6K FD/$6.7K DK)
Bridges has scored at least 30 fantasy points over his last four games. In three of those last four games, he has scored at least 20 points as well as chipping in some rebounds and assists. Bridges has a favorable matchup against Chicago tonight to keep his stretch of good basketball going. Add Bridges to your lineup.
SG/SF Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Portland Trail Blazers ($6.3K FD/$6.5K DK)
Middleton has settled into the starting lineup, but he has only played 30 minutes once since returning from injury. Despite that, he has impacted the team in multiple ways through scoring, rebounding, and assisting. Portland’s defense has been poor this season, and tonight will see Shaedon Sharpe matchup against Middleton. Middleton will most certainly have the advantage.
Forwards
PF/C Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies ($6.2K FD/$5.7K DK)
The last time Green played against Memphis, he put up zeros in almost every category except one steal and four turnovers in just 19 minutes. Green will look to rebound from that performance tonight at home. He has been stuffing the stat sheet lately, accumulating good fantasy scores. With his improved play of late and the embarrassment of his last game against Memphis, Green could be in for a good night.
SF/PF Michael Porter Jr., Denver Nuggets @ San Antonio Spurs ($6.7K FD/$6.3K DK)
The Nuggets and Spurs will square off once again in a unique back-to-back. Last night, Porter registered 22 points and four rebounds. Porter has been consistent for a Nuggets team that has been fairly average this season. Porter’s efficient scoring and rebounding has been a mainstay for fantasy all season, giving you more reason to add him to your lineup.
Centers
C Jalen Duren, Detroit Pistons vs. Minnesota Timberwolves ($5.8K FD/$6.2K DK)
Duren has put up back-to-back double-doubles over his past two games. Now that Jaden Ivey is lost for the season, Duren has begun to pick up the slack in the rebounding department. Duren has not played as he did in his rookie season, but he could be turning a corner. Duren matches up with Rudy Gobert tonight, but the young center can hold his own.
PrizePicks
Tobias Harris OVER 13.5 points
Harris has increased his scoring the past two games since Jaden Ivey suffered his season-ending injury.
D’Angelo Russell OVER 5.5 FG made
Russell has no issues letting it fly in Brooklyn. He had a tough outing against Milwaukee, but he faces a softer Philadelphia second unit.
Tyrese Haliburton + Devin Booker OVER 14 assists
Both guys have the ball in their hands a lot. They are bound to dish out some buckets.
