Hey all, welcome to week 9! Last week was quite the ride, so who knows what’s in store for us this time. The morning games kicked off really well, and I thought we might be onto something, but the afternoon games dashed my dreams of snagging another Milly. No worries, though; we’ll shake it off and give it another shot because that’s just how DFS rolls! Good luck to everyone!

Hurts scored 35.14 fantasy points last week thanks to three rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown. This week, the Eagles are up against the Jacksonville defense, which has been a weak spot for teams all season. The big question is whether Philly will focus on the run game or switch it up and go for the pass. No matter what they choose, Hurts is a solid play. You can use him alone or pair him up with A.J. Brown without any worries.

If Daniels does not convince you after his showing last week, I don’t know what else could change your mind. Despite a rib injury, he managed to rack up 57 scramble yards, bringing his season total to 314. He’s currently at the top of the NFL for QB scramble yards, and the Giants have a tough time defending against the run. You can either play Daniels alone or team him up with Terry McLaurin.

Burrow and the crew didn’t have the best outing against the Eagles last week, but I have a good feeling about them bouncing back this time around. Burrow should have a field day against the Raiders, sitting at the bottom of the coverage rankings. Chase is my top pick to pair with Burrow this week.

Even though the Dallas defense is struggling, we shouldn’t overlook the offense. Dak hasn’t been as sharp as he was in 2023, but he’s got a great matchup against the Atlanta defense, which ranks last in pressure rate. This should give Dak enough time to locate an open receiver downfield. I prefer stacking him with CeeDee, but if you’re feeling adventurous, you could throw Ferguson into the mix for a double stack. This game has a lot of upside for both teams and is definitely one of my top picks for stacking.

Kamara going up against Carolina is a solid choice, so I’m all in on that. The obvious picks can sometimes flop, but I’m willing to roll the dice and expect big things from Alvin. I’m hoping Carr makes his comeback because I want to stack him with Kamara and Olave against the league’s worst defense. I believe Carr’s return will boost the Saints squad, and they should be primed for a nice win on the road.

Walker didn’t do much last week, and honestly, neither did the entire Seattle squad. Geno looks like a solid pick this week, but I can’t see it happening unless Metcalf is in the game. So, I’m counting on Walker to step up and deliver a couple of touchdowns against a pretty weak Rams run defense.

Swift has averaged 96.5 rushing yards and a touchdown in the four starts. He’s become a key player for the Bears’ offense and will likely make some big plays against a weak Cardinals run defense. Plus, he should get some action in the passing game too.

Chase has really stepped up as a strong runner this season and has definitely claimed the top spot as the Bengals’ lead back. The Raiders have a pretty good run defense, but I see the Bengals jumping ahead early with a couple of touchdowns to Ja’Marr Chase and then switching to Brown to rack up some ground points.

Lamb dropped 42.6 fantasy points on the 49ers last week, and I think he’s set for another solid performance. The Falcons don’t have any pass rush, so when Dak has time, he’s definitely going to connect with Lamb for some big plays down the field.

This game looks super promising for Chase, especially with him being under 8% owned—count me in! He’s got one of the top quarterbacks in the league, Joe Burrow, who’s sure to connect with his go-to guy a lot this week.

McLaurin is taking charge of targets and is the go-to guy for deep plays on the team. Whether Daniels has to release the ball fast or hold on for a chance to hit something downfield, McLaurin is the one to look for.

Olave is definitely the go-to guy for the Saints now that Shaheed is done for the season. There are some risky dart throws out there, but he’s the main focus and looks like a steal in this great matchup against the Panthers. I’m feeling much better about this game with Carr under center, and Olave has much potential to shine here.

I’m not feeling great about Bowers’ matchup this week since I expect him to get double-covered. Instead, I’m leaning towards McBride at a similar price. His performance has been hit or miss this season, but it really depends on how his team plays, and the Cardinals have been pretty inconsistent too. The Bears have a solid pass defense, but McBride should still get a good number of targets.

The Cowboys are set for a high passing game, and besides Lamb, Ferguson is really stepping up as the second choice in the air attack. He’s got a 19% target share and a solid 15% rate for first-read targets.

Cousins definitely seems to enjoy tossing the ball to Pitts, giving him a solid 20% target share. It can be a bit stressful to rely on him, but honestly, the price is still pretty fair for what he brings to the table.

This game is perfect for the ultimate multitasker! Taysom is likely to get chances to pass, run, and catch in this matchup. He’s a steal, considering his potential against the Panthers.

The Commanders kicked off the season looking like one of the worst defenses in the league, right alongside the Panthers. They were pretty terrible against the pass in the first three weeks, sitting second-to-last in success rate and dead last in EPA allowed per dropback. However, over the last five weeks, they’ve turned things around and now rank fifth in dropback success rate and are the top team in the NFL for EPA allowed per dropback. Meanwhile, the Giants are a total mess, and honestly, the Commanders’ defense deserves more credit than it’s getting. I’m all in on them until people start to catch on.

The Titans are hosting the Patriots, and it looks like it should be a pretty straightforward defensive matchup for them. The Titans’ pass rush isn’t the best, but if Maye can’t get through the concussion protocol and Brissett ends up starting, I’m betting on the Titans’ defense to shine.

The Eagles’ defensive line will be a major challenge for the Jacksonville offensive line, so I’m all in on them for this matchup. With Josh Sweat, Bryce Huff, Jalen Carter, and Nolan Smith ready to face a weak offensive and a new left tackle who had a rough debut last week, Jacksonville is definitely in for a tough time.

The Cardinals are a solid choice this week, going up against the Bears. The Bears have a tough time on the road, and it looks like Shane Waldron is a bit lost with his offensive strategy, mainly just focusing on the run. I’m really into Swift for this matchup; I think he’ll get plenty of touches, but I also think the Cardinals will get sacks on Caleb.
