Hey everyone, we’ve made it to week 10! At first glance, I thought this week was a bit underwhelming, but there are some awesome game settings to check out. The big question for these matchups is whether the teams will focus more on passing or stick to the ground game. I find myself pondering this for quite a few games, but I’ll do my best to break down how to create a winning lineup. Good luck to all!

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts $7,800 – PHI @ DAL

Jalen Hurts has been on fire this season, and he’s facing a Dallas defense that’s really struggled. Even though A.J. Brown had to leave last week’s game due to a knee issue, he’s been practicing and should be good to go this Sunday. I can see Hurts, Smith, Brown, and Barkley all having great games, but I’m really leaning toward Hurts and Barkley. Hurts is a solid pick on his own with his rushing ability, and Barkley is just dominating this season. Dallas has been vulnerable against the run, so I’m all in on Hurts this week and will mix in some Barkley wherever I can.

Brock Purdy $6,500 – SF @ TB

Christian McCaffrey is set to kick off his season this week, which is great news for Purdy. While Purdy has been playing well, he’s been one of the slowest in the league at releasing the ball. With CMC back in the mix, the team should pick up the pace, and we can expect Purdy to get the ball out faster and more frequently. I’m definitely looking to include CMC in my lineup this week, but I’m also a fan of a Purdy/Kittle/Pearsall combo. Plus, you’ve got some solid options for a nice counter with Otton or Irving. This game is going to be exciting!

Sam Darnold $6,200 – MIN @ JAX

Darnold’s had his ups and downs this season, but he’s definitely had some standout moments. This week’s matchup against the Jaguars should be a solid opportunity for him and the crew, especially for Justin Jefferson. Since Jacksonville is tough against the run, we can expect Darnold to air it out quite a bit. A Darnold/Jefferson combo could really pay off!

Mac Jones $4,400 JAX vs MIN

There’s not a ton to work with, but when you find a quarterback at this price, it’s definitely worth a gamble. Jones hasn’t exactly wowed us in his career, but he has a chance to prove us wrong this week. The Vikings’ defense is pretty solid, but they can be vulnerable if you can release the ball fast. That’s going to be the challenge for Jones. I’m willing to roll the dice. For stacking, I think Engram or Thomas are the best picks.

Other QB Options

  • Josh Allen $7,700 @ INDY
  • Jayden Daniels $7,500 vs PIT
  • Aaron Rodgers $5,700 @ ARI
  • Justin Herbert $5,200 vs TEN

Running Back

Saquon Barkley $8,300 PHI @ DAL

Barkley is on fire, and Dallas has struggled against running backs all season. Don’t overthink this one. Just have exposure to him and a lot of it.

Alvin Kamara $8,100 – NO vs ATL

Kamara is definitely the backbone of the Saints’ offense, and you can count on him for the rest of the season. He’s not just going to be the top running back; he’ll also play a key role as the leading wide receiver for the team. With the Falcons having some weaknesses in their run defense, Kamara is shaping up to be a solid pick again this week.

Bijan Robinson $7,700 – ATL @ NO

Robinson had a solid game last week, racking up 145 total yards, but he didn’t find the end zone. This week, he’s set to really stand out against the Saints, who struggle big time with their run defense. Expect Robinson to be a key player this week in both the passing and rushing game.

D’Andre Swift $6,500 CHI vs NE

Swift has proven he’s the real RB1 for the Bears. This week, they’re taking on the Patriots in Chicago, where the Bears usually perform way better than when they’re away. The Patriots’ run defense isn’t great, and Swift has shown he can break off some big runs to score. With a bunch of pricey RB choices out there, Swift is a solid way to save some cash this week.

Other RB Options

  • Christian McCaffery $8,000 @ TB
  • Breece Hall $7,600 @ ARI
  • Jonathan Taylor $7,500 vs BUF
  • Bucky Irving $5,700 vs SF

Wide Receiver

Justin Jefferson $8,800 – Min @ JAX

Jefferson going up against a weak Jacksonville defense is a no-brainer! His potential this week is through the roof, so definitely consider starting him if you’re aiming for a winning lineup.

Garrett Wilson $7,200 – NYJ @ ARI

The Jets haven’t had the best season so far, but bringing in Davante Adams seems to have sparked some energy in the team. Wilson and Rodgers are starting to click, which is great to see. Wilson’s been on the field a ton with a route participation rate of 98%, and he’s getting targeted 31% of the time, even more than Adams right now. I’m feeling good about the Jets this week and plan to roster a lot of their players.

Josh Downs $6,200 – IND vs BUF

Downs is definitely the top wide receiver for the Colts, especially with Flacco taking the snaps. Buffalo has a decent pass rush, but their secondary is vulnerable, and that’s where Downs will really excel. With Pittman out, it creates even more opportunities for Downs. Look for Flacco to air it out in this game, and Downs is likely to be the one catching those passes.

DeAndre Hopkins $5,300 KC vs DEN

Kansas City has had a solid track record against Denver in the past, but I was really impressed with D Hop’s performance last week. He brought a lot of energy to the Chiefs’ offense and was a blast to watch. His route running is still top-notch, and I think his current price is a bit undervalued, considering what he can do. He’s fitting into Rashee Rice’s role really well.

Other WR Options

  • George Pickens $6,800 @ WAS
  • Darnell Mooney $6,500 @ NO
  • Ladd McConkey $5,900 vs TEN
  • Ricky Pearsall $4,400 @ TB

Tight End

Travis Kelce $6,000 KC vs DEN

Besides D Hop, Kelce is the other player who’s going to be catching passes from Mahomes this week. He’s had a crazy 28 targets over the past two weeks, which is wild. Sure, Kansas City has had a tough time against Denver, but Kelce is the main guy, and he will have many chances to make some catches again this week.

George Kittle $5,800 – SF @ TB

Kittle has been super dependable this season, and I don’t see any reason to bench him now. This game can potentially be a high-scoring affair if it stays competitive. He’s going to get a lot of looks, with a target share of 25% and an 80% route participation rate.

Cade Otton $5,500 – TB vs SF

Otton has become Baker’s go-to guy now that Godwin and Evans are sidelined. Over the past couple of weeks, he’s racked up 11 and 10 targets, scoring three touchdowns in the process. He’s really stepping up and playing like a top-tier tight end at the moment.

Taysom Hill $4,000 NO vs ATL

I was really impressed with Hill’s performance last week, and with Olave now out, he looks even more attractive. He’s a solid pick this week and plays a crucial role in the Saints’ offense. Definitely someone you should consider adding to your lineups.

Other TE Options

  • Dalton Kincaid $4,900 @ IND
  • Dallas Goedert $4,500 @ DAL
  • Hunter Henry $3,900 @ CHI
  • Juwan Johnson $3,300 vs ATL

Defense

Chargers $3,800 vs TENN

Khalil Mack is going to dominate the Tennessee offensive line this week. He’ll likely steamroll right past right tackle Leroy Watson and left tackle JC Latham. Plus, defensive tackle Morgan Fox has the advantage over center Daniel Brunskill. The Chargers are set to put a ton of pressure on whoever Tennessee puts out there, and we can expect a few sacks as well.

Vikings $3,700 @ JAX

The Vikings’ edge rusher Jonathan Greenard facing LT Walker Little is a huge mismatch for Jacksonville. What we want to see in a defense is the ability to get to the passer and sacks. We should see plenty of those here.

Jets $2,900 @ ARI

The Bears are grabbing all the DST attention this week, so I’m switching gears to the Jets. They are one of the top pass defenses in the NFL. While their pass rush isn’t anything to write home about, their coverage is top-notch, and Murray has struggled when he has a clean pocket this season. The way the Jets played offensively and defensive last week definitely earns my support.

Patriots $2,500 @ CHI

Caleb Williams seemed to be on the rise, showing us some solid progress each week, but then he flopped. The Patriots’ defense isn’t exactly top-notch, but given that we need to save some cash and considering how the Bears have been performing, I’m willing to roll the dice on the Pats this week.

Other DST Options

  • Chiefs $3,600 vs DEN
  • Eagles $3,500 @ DAL
  • Commanders $3,100 vs PIT
  • Jaguars $2,500 vs MIN
