Allen is in a great spot against an expected bad Cardinal defense. He has new receivers, but they can scheme differently because they all have special talents. His rushing and ability to score touchdowns make him a slate-breaking player. He has the safest floor and a 30-plus point ceiling.

Lawrence will bounce back this season and pass for 4K plus yards and 30-plus touchdowns. He has excellent weapons and could be in a shoot-out situation in Miami. Plus, he has sneaky games where he rushes for 20 yards and scores a touchdown.

Mayfield is my favorite QB on the slate. The Buccaneer offense was awesome by season’s end last year. He was continually scoring 20-plus fantasy points. He faces a Commander defense projected to be in the bottom 5. Look for 25-plus points cheaply, allowing you to spend up at other positions.

The Giants can successfully pass the football against a weak Vikings secondary. Jones can extend plays with his feet and score an occasional touchdown. On a good day, he has 30-point potential.

Robinson must be considered every week regardless of the matchup. Atlanta has a solid offensive line, and they need to be in third and manageable because of Pittsburgh’s pass rush. I think he could also have six or more catches, as Cousins may look to dump it off as he is pressured. Robinson will be a $9K back by the end of the season.

If you aren’t playing Allen, then you should be playing Cook. The Cardinal run defense was awful a season ago and did nothing to improve during the offseason. I think he can rush for 100 yards plus a touchdown.

The Panther defense has struggled against the run over the past two seasons. Look for Kamar to find some running lanes and to be highly involved in the receiving game. If he scores, he is a 20-plus-point play.

White is a premier pass-catching back, and he can even be stacked with Mayfield. He is a great bet to score 20-plus points if he scores a TD.

The Broncos gave up 5 yards per carry a season ago and have done little to improve. Walker should have a safe double-digit floor but could have a blowup game where he scores multiple touchdowns.

The Panthers signed two new guards to strengthen their offensive line. They face an aging Saint front that they may be able to push around. Hubbard could see 20-plus touches, as he will catch a few passes as well. A touchdown would give him close to 10 points at a cheap price.

Hill must be considered every week. He is the most explosive receiver on the field. Miami could be playing from behind, making him a player you need.

Many are down on the Viking offense because QB Sam Darnold is the starter, but I am not. Jefferson is QB-proof, and the Giants won’t be able to cover him. Look for 100 yards and a touchdown on his way to 20-plus fantasy points.

Evans is in a great spot against a bad Commander defense. He should be in almost all Mayfield lineups, as he could have 8 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Nabers is in a good spot against a Viking pass defense that is going to be boom or bust. They love to blitz, which could leave Nabers one-on-one with an aging CB, Stefon Gilmore. Plus, if Nabers is as good as DrRoto thinks, this price will never be seen again.

Meyers is going to have low ownership but is very sneaky. All the attention will go to Adams, but I think Meyers scores and gets near 20 points.

Robinson is a sneaky play and could rack up a ton of targets in the slot. There is a chance he has 5 catches for 50 plus yards and a touchdown.

I like Iosivas at this price any week, but he may be a free square in week 1. Tee Higgins is doubtful, and Ja’Marr Chase may not play, but even if one or both play, Iosivas can still have a great game.

I think we must pay up at tight end this week, and McBride is my guy. The Bills are missing one of the top pass-coverage linebackers in all of football. Expect the middle to be open as special attention may go to WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Look for double-digit targets and a double-digit floor with that 20-plus point potential.

The Jaguars could also be involved in a shootout, and the Dolphins struggled against the tight end last season. I think he also has a double-digit floor with a chance at 20-plus points.

Otton is a much better player than his stats suggest. He is big and athletic, and I expect he will be used much more in the red zone this season. He averaged 17 points in the two playoff games last season, which gained Baker’s trust.
