FREE 7/20 MLB Cheat Sheet: Top DFS Plays

SP:

• Logan Webb, San Francisco Giants (FD:$10,100 | DK:$7,600)
• Brady Singer, Kansas City Royals (FD:$9,000 | DK:$8,100)
• Gavin Williams, Cleveland Guardians (FD:$7,000 | DK:$6,900)

Notes: Singer has an excellent matchup vs. the White Sox and is my favorite option today. Williams is very cheap, has strikeout upside, and pitches for the best team in the American League. Webb is in Coors Field, so I was a little hesitant with him, but the DFS Hero Optimizer rates him as their number one SP.

Top Stacks:

• San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies
• Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Chicago Cubs

Secondary Stack:

• Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Boston Red Sox

Notes: The Giants must be considered tonight because they are in Coors Field. I like their right-handed hitters specifically. The Diamondbacks have a great matchup against Kyle Hendricks, who has a 6.78 ERA and 1.51 WHIP this season. The Dodgers face Brayan Bello of the Red Sox, who has been hit hard in his past ten starts, with a 6.24 ERA, 1.71 WHIP, and .309 BAA.

C:

• Will Smith, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$3,600 | DK:$5,600)
• Patrick Bailey, San Francisco Giants (FD:$3,100 | DK:$4,500)
• Gabriel Moreno, Arizona Diamondbacks(FD:$2,700 | DK:$3,600)

Notes: Smith is the top-ranked catcher on the Optimizer tonight. Moreno can be used in the Diamondback stack, and he is coming off a three-hit performance last night. Bailey will be in Coors Field tonight, so he is definitely worth a look.

1B:

• Christian Walker, Arizona Diamondbacks (FD:$3,700 | DK:$5,300)
• Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$3,800 | DK:$5,200)
• Alec Burleson, St. Louis Cardinals (FD:$N/A | DK:$4,000)

Notes: Freeman and Walker are two of the top hitters in the Dodgers and Diamondbacks stacks tonight. I also have a value 1B tonight, so check the value plays below. Burleson is ranked third for 1B on the DFS Hero Simulator tonight and has a 29% chance to 3X.

2B:

• Ketel Marte, Arizona Diamondbacks (FD:$3,800 | DK:$5,500)
• Thairo Estrada, San Francisco Giants (FD:$2,900 | DK:$4,100)
• Nolan Gorman, St. Louis Cardinals (FD:$N/A | DK:$3,800)

Notes: Marte is one of the best-hitting 2B in MLB right now and is always a threat to have a big night. Estrada is the second-ranked 2B on the Simulator tonight and has a 25% chance to 3.5X tonight. Gorman is the sixth-ranked 2B on the Simulator and has a 27% chance to 3 X.

3B:

• Matt Chapman, San Francisco Giants (FD:$3,600 | DK:$4,800)
• Ryan McMahon, Colorado Rockies (FD:$3,400 | DK:$4,700)
• Alex Bregman, Houston Astros (FD:$3,300 | DK:$4,100)

Notes: Chapman can be used in the Giants stack tonight against LHP Kyle Freeland. I have a value play below that can also be used in one of my stacks. McMahon is at home in Coors tonight, so he should be considered unless you play SP Logan Webb, who he goes up against. Bregman has been hot lately, and the Optimizer projects that he will have a low ownership tonight in the 3% range.

SS:

• Tyler Fitzgerald, San Francisco Giants (FD:$2,700 | DK:$4,100)
• Miguel Rojas, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$2,500 | DK:$3,600)
• Bobby Witt Jr., Kansas City Royals (FD:$4,400 | DK:$6,300)

Notes: Fitzgerald and Rojas can be used in the Giants and Dodgers stacks tonight. Witt Jr. is the best-hitting SS in baseball right now, and the Optimizer has him ranked as the third-best option tonight. He has the highest ceiling at the position and a 68% win percentage.

OF:

• Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$4,700 | DK:$6,500)
• Heliot Ramos, San Francisco Giants (FD:$3,700 | DK:$5,000)
• Teoscar Hernandez, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$3,300 | DK:$4,800)
• Jorge Soler, San Francisco Giants (FD:$3,500 | DK:$4,800)
• Andy Pages, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$2,700 | DK:$3,800)

Notes: Ohtani is the best hitter in the National League this season and is ranked as the top OF tonight on the Simulator. Soler is the second-ranked OF on the Simulator and has a 34% chance to 3X tonight. All the hitters listed can be used in my top stacks tonight, except for Rafaela. Rafaela is the 4th ranked OF on the Simulator, though, and he has a 28.7% chance to 3X.

Value Players:

• 1B Wilmer Flores, San Francisco Giants (FD:$2,500 | DK:$3,500)
• 3B Eugenio Suarez, Arizona Diamondbacks (FD:$2,800 | DK:$3,500)
• OF Miguel Vargas, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$2,600 | DK:$3,200)

Notes: Flores has historically hit LHP very well and is very cheap for a bat at Coors Field tonight. Vargas is one of the cheapest bats in the Dodgers stack, and using him will help you pay up for Ohtani, Freeman, and Teoscar. Suarez has been hot lately, can be used in the Diamondbacks stack, and the Simulator gives him a 28% chance to 3X.
