SP:

Tarik Skubal, Tigers (DK: $10,500 | FD: $11,000)

Grayson Rodriguez, Orioles (DK: $ 9,400 | FD: $10,200)

George Kirby, Mariners (DK: $8,500 | FD: $9,300)

Notes: Skubal offers the highest upside, as he has the best chance to score 30-plus points. The DFS Hero Optimizer projects both the Orioles and Mariners to score only 3.5 runs a piece, making Rodriguez and Kirby two of their top three valued pitchers.

Stacks:

New York Yankees vs. Cincinnati Reds

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Notes: I am fading the Rockies and Brewer stacks and playing these three. They all have great matchups and a good mix of variously priced players. The optimizer also projects all these teams to score five or more runs.

C:

Will Smith, Dodgers (DK: $5,700 | FD: $3,500)

Yainer Diaz, Astros (DK: $4,100 | FD: No Play)

Notes: Smith is projected to be the second highest-scoring catcher behind William Contreras but is $500 cheaper. I play Diaz almost every day in some capacity because I think he is going to get extremely hot soon.

1B:

Freddie Freeman, Dodgers (DK: $5,900 | FD: $3,700)

Matt Olson, Braves (DK: $5,200 | FD: $3,200)

Vinny Pasquantino, (DK: $4,400 | FD: $3,200)

Notes: Freeman is in a great spot vs. SP Ryne Nelson. I think he has a multi-hit night. Olson is about to catch fire and maybe it’s tonight vs. the rookie. Pasquantino has four double-digit games out of his last five.

2B:

Nico Hoerner, Cubs (DK: $4,000 | FD: $2,900)

Brandon Lowe, Rays (DK: $3,800 | FD: $2,800)

Brendan Rodgers, Rockies (DK: $3,700 | FD: $3,100)

Notes: I think second base is a good position to pay down. The optimizer has Lowe and Rodgers rated as their best values on the slate. Hoerner is sneaky and will have only 5% ownership, according to the optimizer.

3B:

Austin Riley, Braves (DK: $5,300 | FD: $3,600)

Christopher Morel, Cubs (DK: $4,400 | FD: $3,100)

Notes: The optimizer has Riley projected as the top-scoring third basemen and Morel third.

SS:

Anthony Volpe, Yankees (DK: $4,500 | FD: $3,000)

Dansby Swanson, Cubs (DK: $3,700 | FD: $2,700)

Notes: Volpe could have a huge night in this spot vs. Ashcraft, and Swanson is a nice pay-down option.

OF:

Shohei Ohtani, Dodgers (DK: $6,700 | FD: $4,800)

Aaron Judge, Yankees (DK: $6,600 | FD: $4,900)

Brenton Doyle, Rockies (DK: $4,700 | FD: $3,400)

Randy Arozarena, Rays (DK: $4,000 | FD: $3,000)

Josh Lowe, Rays (DK: $3,700 | FD: $2,900)

Notes: Ohtani and Judge are smashing the ball, and I want them both in my lineups tonight. Doyle is coming off a great night and could be ready for a great homestand. The Rays could be sneaky, and Lowe and Arozarena have been in several winning lineups over the past ten days.

Value Players:

1B Ben Rice, Yankees (DK: $2,500 | FD: $2,400)

SS Taylor Walls, Rays (DK: $2,600 | FD: $2,600)

OF Pete Crowe-Armstrong. Cubs (DK: $3,000 | FD: $2,400)

C Sean Murphy, Braves (DK: $3,500 | FD: $2,700)

OF Jose Siri, Rays (DK: $3,400 | FD: $3,000)

SS Gleyber Torres, Yankees (DK: $3,600 | FD: $2,700)

SP Dallas Keuchel, Brewers (DK: $5,000 | FD: No Play)

SP Ryan Feltner, Rockies (DK: $5,500 | FD: No Play)

SP Mitch Spence, Athletics (DK: $6,600 | FD: $7,100)

Notes: The hitters are among the top valued players per The DFS Hero Optimizer. Spence is rated as their second-highest-valued pitcher. As for Keuchel and Feltner, call me crazy, but it makes sense to play them in some capacity if I am fading Brewer and Rockies stacks. They both will be less than 1% owned, and the wind is blowing in just a bit tonight. I’m not telling you to play them in 10 lineups, but you can make one or two and play Ohtani, Judge, Freeman, and another big bat in your lineup.
