SP:

Joe Ryan, Minnesota Twins (FD:$10,600 | DK:$9,700)

Yusei Kikuchi, Houston Astros (FD:$8,900 | DK:$8,600)

Gavin Stone, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$8,700 | DK:$7,600)

Notes: Ryan has an excellent matchup against the White Sox tonight. Kikuchi is making his Astros debut and gets a soft matchup against the Rays. Stone faces the last place A’s in Oakland. These guys are the number one, two, and four ranked pitchers on the DFS Hero Optimizer tonight.

Top Stacks:

Baltimore Orioles vs. Cleveland Guardians

Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins

Notes: The Orioles have one of baseball’s best lineups this season, and they get an amazing matchup against Guardians SP Carlos Carrasco, who has a 5.68 ERA this season. The Braves face a struggling Marlins pitcher and bullpen tonight. The Optimizer likes several of the Braves hitters.

C:

Will Smith, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$3,100 | DK:$5,600)

Adley Rustchman, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$3,200 | DK:$5,600)

Sean Murphy, Atlanta Braves (FD:$2,600 | DK:$3,200)

Notes: Smith is one of the top-hitting catchers in MLB, so he is always a great choice if you are willing to pay up at catcher. Of course, so is Adley, especially if you want to stack Orioles tonight. Murphy is much cheaper than those guys, though, and he can be used in a Braves stack. Also look to see if Braves catcher Travis d’Arnaud is in the lineup either at catcher or DH. He is the number-one ranked catcher on the DFS Hero Optimizer tonight and another option in the Braves stack

1B:

Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$4,800 | DK:$6,500)

Matt Olson, Atlanta Braves (FD:$3,300 | DK:$4,800)

Ryan Mountcastle, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$3,000 | DK:$4,400)

Notes: No surpises here. Ohtani is the number one ranked 1B tonight on the DFS Hero Simulator. The Simulator gives Matt Olson a 25% chance to 3X tonight and Mountcastle a 26% chance to 3X tonight.

2B:

Jackson Holiday, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$2,400 | DK:$3,200)

Whit Merrifield, Atlanta Braves (FD:$2,300 | DK:$2,900)

Notes: Holiday is the top prospect in all of MLB and can be used cheaply in the Orioles stack. Merrifield is very cheap and can be used in the Braves stack either at 2B or in the OF. The DFS Hero Optimizer also likes Willi Castro and Xander Bogaerts tonight. I have another cheap option in the values section.

3B:

Austin Riley, Atlanta Braves (FD:$3,500 | DK:$5,000)

Mark Vientos, New York Mets (FD:$3,100 | DK:$4,400)

Coby Mayo, Baltimore Orioles (FD:N/A | DK:$2,000)

Notes: Riley is the fourth-ranked 3B tonight on the DFS Hero Simulator. Vientos is having a big power year and will face an LHP tonight, which gives him a nice platoon advantage, too. Coby Mayo is a top-five prospect in MLB who is expected to make his MLB debut tonight, and he is min priced on DK.

SS:

Gunnar Henderson, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$4,500 | DK:$6,100)

Francisco Lindor, New York Mets (FD:$4,000 | DK:$5,600)

Orlando Arcia, Atlanta Braves (FD:$2,600 | DK:$2,800)

Notes: Lindor is the third-ranked SS on the DFS Hero Optimizer tonight, and Henderson is the fifth-ranked SS. Both of them can have a big night at any time, however I prefer Henderson as part of the Orioles stack. Arcia has had a tough season, but has been hitting better lately and is a cheap option if you want to make a five-man Braves stack.

OF:

Marcell Ozuna, Atlanta Braves (FD:$4,100 | DK:$5,700) 

Anthony Santander, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$4,000 | DK:$5,400)

Jorge Soler, Atlanta Braves (FD:$3,400 | DK:$4,400)

Colton Cowser, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$3,200 | DK:$4,200)

Cedric Mullins, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$2,900 | DK:$3,800)

Notes: These are my favorite OF options in my favorite stacks tonight. Ozuna and Santander are both having monster seasons. However, it could be tough to get both into your lineups because of their prices. That is where a player like Mullins and/or Cowser come into play. Both are good lefty bats against the righty Carrasco. The DFS Hero Simulator gives Mullins a 33% chance to 3X tonight and Cowser a 30.9% chance to 3X tonight.

Value Players:

SP Randy Vasquez, San Diego Padres (FD:$7,300 | DK:$6,100)

2B Gavin Lux, Los Angeles Dodgers (FD:$2,800 | DK:$3,200)

OF Eloy Jimenez, Baltimore Orioles (FD:$2,700 | DK:$3,600)

OF Eddie Rosario, Atlanta Braves (FD:$2,700 | DK:$3,000)

Notes: Vasquez is cheap for a SP, and he has a solid matchup against the Rockies in San Diego. Rosario and Jimenez are cheap options in the Braves and Orioles stacks. Lux has been hot at the dish lately, and he is the number-one ranked 2B on the DFS Hero Simulator. He has a 39.7% chance to 3X tonight and a 32% chance to 3.5X.
