SP:
Tyler Glasnow, Dodgers (DK: $10,200 | FD: $10,500)
Logan Webb, Giants (DK: $ 8,400 | FD: $10,000)
Notes: The DFS Hero Optimizer projects Glasnow to be the top-scoring pitcher, four points ahead of Webb, who is projected to finish second.
Stacks:
Kansas City Royals vs. Boston Red Sox
San Francisco Giants vs. Washington Nationals
Chicago White Sox vs. Oakland Athletics
Notes: The Royals and Giants are projected to be first and second in runs scored, with both over five runs. The White Sox are projected to have the highest stack value and they were yesterday and scored seven runs.
C:
Salvador Perez, Royals (DK: $5,100 | FD: $3,100)
Patrick Bailey, Giants (DK: $3,800 | FD: $2,700)
Notes: Perez is projected to be the top-scoring catcher, with Bailey being the 4th highest, giving him added value.
1B:
Bryce Harper, Phillies (DK: $5,700 | FD: $3,600)
Vinny Pasquantino, Royals (DK: $5,000 | FD: $3,300)
Notes: Harper is projected to be the third highest-scoring first baseman, but his value in ownership is projected under 5%. Pasquantino has four homers over his last five games. I am not concerned about the lefty vs. lefty matchup.
2B:
Marcus Semien, Rangers (DK: $4,600 | FD: $3,300)
Maikel Garcia, Royals (DK: $4,300 | FD: $3,200)
Notes: Garcia is projected to finish second in second basemen scoring but has more value than Ketel Marte, who is projected first. I like Semien anytime is ownership is projected under 4%.
3B:
Royce Lewis, Cubs (DK: $5,300 | FD: $4,100)
Matt Chapman, Giants (DK: $4,600 | FD: $3,400)
Notes: Chapman’s projected points at third base are the highest, giving him tremendous value. Lewis should be priced closer to 6K.
SS:
Bobby Witt Jr., Royals (DK: $6,500 | FD: $4,500)
Elly De La Cruz, Reds (DK: $6,200 | FD: $4,200)
Notes: Witt and De La Cruz are the type of players who can dominate the slate. Witt gets the advantage because the Royals have the highest projected run total.
OF:
Jaren Duran, Red Sox (DK: $5,800 | FD: $3,600)
Yordan Alvarez, Astros (DK: $5,600 | FD: $3,800)
Brent Rooker, Athletics (DK: $5,400 | FD: $3,800)
Teoscar Hernandez, Dodgers (DK: $4,500 | FD: $3,500)
Luis Robert, White Sox (DK: $4,400 | FD: $3,200)
Notes: All of these outfielders project in the top 10 in outfielder scoring. I love the price of Robert, making him my favorite.
Value Players:
2B Brooks Baldwin, White Sox (DK: $2,200 | FD: $2,300)
3B/OF Miguel Vargas, White Sox (DK: $2,800 | FD: $2,600)
OF Jerar Encarnacion, Giants (DK: $3,000 | FD: $2,500)
1B Josh Bell, Diamondbacks (DK: $3,300 | FD: $2,800)
SS Brooks Lee, Twins (DK: $3,500 | FD: $2,700)
C Gabriel Moreno, Diamondbacks (DK: $3,500 | FD: $2,800)
SP David Festa, Twins (DK: $6,100 | FD: $6,700)
SP JP Sears, Athletics (DK: $7,700 | FD: $8,600)
Notes: According to the optimizer, these players are among the top projected value plays at their position. Festa is going to have a big game soon; I just don’t know when that is coming. When I watch him in person, his fastball pops.
