Guards
SG/PG/SF Dyson Daniels, Atlanta Hawks vs. Chicago Bulls ($5.6K FD/$5.7K DK)
Daniels has been playing his full starter minutes in the last two games, including Atlanta’s game last night against the Pistons. For it being his first year in Atlanta and starting, Daniels has seen a consistent volume of shots. If the third-year player can get hot with Trae Young willing to be a passer, Daniels could go off at any time. Daniels does enough of the other things, like rebounding and passing, to cement a solid fantasy score.
PG Darius Garland, Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Brooklyn Nets ($6.8K FD/$6.9K DK)
For a guy who nearly averages 20 points and seven assists, the price is not that bad. I also had Garland in the lineup last weekend, but sometimes, it is all right to take the low-hanging fruit. Garland is having a much better season than in 2023, and it has contributed to Cleveland’s 10-0 start to the season. Garland has a great matchup against Dennis Schroder and the Nets. Expect another good performance from Garland tonight.
Forwards
SF/SG Norman Powell, Los Angeles Clippers vs. Toronto Raptors ($6.3K FD/$7.2K DK)
Powell has not scored less than 20 points since October 23rd. He has a decent matchup against the Raptors, so he should not have a problem scoring. Powell does not do much more than score, but he averages around two rebounds and two assists a game to supplement his fantasy scoring. He has great value on FanDuel, so plug him into your lineup there.
SF/PF Cameron Johnson, Brooklyn Nets @ Cleveland Cavaliers ($5.9K FD/$6.3K DK)
Johnson is finally getting his chance to start in this league, and he has shown why he can start. He averages nearly 17 points a game to go along with his averages of four rebounds and three assists. Johnson’s stat line will not pop out to you, but his line is effective for fantasy lineups. He has a tough matchup against Cleveland, but he still should be productive today.
Centers
C Walker Kessler, Utah Jazz @ San Antonio Spurs ($6.5K FD)
DraftKings does not include the 5 PM game. Kessler is nearly averaging a double-double this season, which is good for the fantasy score. Kessler will match up against Victor Wembanyama, who has not been as dominant as expected so far this season. The Spurs are giving up the 16th most points to centers this season. As long as Kessler can stay out of foul trouble, he should be able to produce a solid score for your lineup.
PrizePicks
Dennis Schroder OVER 15.5 points
Schroder has scored 20 points in back-to-back games, and he has a good matchup against Darius Garland.
RJ Barrett OVER 1.5 3-pt made
Barrett is averaging 2.5 made threes a game this season. He did not shoot well from deep in his last game, so he will want to make up for it tonight.
Lauri Markkanen OVER 8.5 rebs + asts
Markkanen has certainly regressed in the scoring department, but there has not been much regression in his rebounding and passing. He has a good matchup against Harrison Barnes.
