Connect a chat app

Last updated Oct 16, 2026

These are the same steps Settings > AI agents shows for each chat app. The page also has the server URL to copy. For what happens at the sign-in page, see Connect an AI agent.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT needs ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education, on the web.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Open Plugins, click the plus button, and create an app named DFS Hero with the server URL from Settings > AI agents.
  3. Choose OAuth for authentication, then sign in to DFS Hero and click Allow access.

Claude

  1. On Settings > AI agents, click Claude, then Open Claude. Claude opens its custom connector form.
  2. Type DFS Hero as the name, and paste the server URL as the MCP server URL.
  3. Click Continue, then Add, then Connect.
  4. Sign in to DFS Hero and click Allow access.

Let Claude send your entries file

Claude runs commands in a sandbox that reaches only the sites you allow. dfshero.com is not on that list by default, so Claude cannot send your entries file to DFS Hero.

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Capabilities.
  2. Add dfshero.com to the domains Claude may reach.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner does this in Organization settings. Without it, Claude can still import a file whose entries hold no lineups, from the entry ids alone, and it may ask you to drop any other file into DFS Hero yourself.

Grok

  1. On Settings > AI agents, click Grok, then Open Grok. Grok opens its connectors page.
  2. Click New Connector, then Custom, and paste the server URL.
  3. Sign in to DFS Hero and click Allow access.

Meta Muse

Meta Muse connects with a personal token in place of the sign-in.

  1. Create a personal token under Connected agents on Settings > AI agents, and copy it. See Manage connected agents.
  2. On Settings > AI agents, click Meta Muse, copy the message, and send it to Muse.
  3. Muse guides you through the rest. Give it the token when it asks; Muse keeps it in its credential store.
