Connect an AI agent

Last updated Oct 16, 2026

An AI agent is an assistant app, such as Claude or ChatGPT, that you connect to your DFS Hero account. Once connected, the agent works for you: it reads the slates and your results, builds lineups, fills your entries, and gives you the filled file to upload. The agent connects to DFS Hero's MCP server, the standard way assistant apps reach other services.

Power plan. AI agents are part of the Power plan. On Essential, Settings > AI agents shows an upgrade prompt in place of the steps.

Before you start

  • An active Power subscription. See Plans: Essential and Power.
  • One of the apps DFS Hero lists. Chat apps: ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Meta Muse. Coding tools: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, and VS Code. Another app that adds a remote MCP server can connect too.

Connect your app

  1. Click Settings in the top bar, then AI agents in the left sidebar.
  2. Under Connect an agent, click your app. The steps for that app appear below the picker.

  1. Follow the steps. Each app adds DFS Hero from the server URL on the page, with a button, a command, or a form.
  2. When your app opens the DFS Hero sign-in page, sign in. The page names the app and lists what it asks to do.
  3. Click Allow access. Click Deny if you did not start this connection.

For your security, a fresh sign-in is needed: connect the agent within 15 minutes of signing in. If more time passed, DFS Hero asks you to sign in again, then you click Allow access.

App by app steps: Connect a chat app and Connect a coding tool.

What the agent may do

The sign-in page lists what the agent asks for:

AccessWhat it covers
ReadRead slates, projections, contests, your builds, and your entries
BuildStart builds, sims, and replays, and change your playbooks and alerts
EntriesImport, fill, swap, and export your contest entries

The agent works inside the same limits as your browser. It cannot see other accounts or the DFS Hero team's tools, and it cannot enter contests on DraftKings or FanDuel. You enter and upload from your own account. See What an agent can do.

Then ask it something

  • "What slates are on today?"
  • "Which stacks stand out on tonight's main slate?"
  • "Build 20 lineups for the NFL main slate."

To see or cut off a connected agent, see Manage connected agents.
