What an agent can do

Last updated Oct 16, 2026

A connected agent uses DFS Hero the way you do, through the same features and the same plan limits. It acts only on your account.

Power plan. AI agents are part of the Power plan.

What it can read

  • The day's slates, with lock times, and each slate's player pool, games, Vegas lines, and weather.
  • Game Sim, StackIQ, pivots, and the sport primers.
  • Contests: one slate's lobby, the best contests across today's slates, and a past contest's field, winning score, and cash line.
  • Your builds and lineups, your entries, your entry plan, your Playbooks, your scheduled builds, your alerts, and your notifications.
  • Your results: the Film Room tabs, the bankroll summary, Hero IQ, and Replay.
  • The help center.

What it can do

  • Build lineups, with Build Only or Build and Sim, on DFS Hero's servers, and fill your entries from the build.
  • Set your entry plan: the Selection each contest uses and the exposure caps.
  • Late swap your entries, or swap a named player out of chosen entries.
  • Save, schedule, and delete Playbooks, and run Replay on past slates.
  • Save and delete custom alerts, and mark notifications read.

Each action matches a feature in the app, and its results show there: the entries an agent fills show on the Entries page.

Your entries file, in and out

The agent asks you for the entries CSV you download from DraftKings or FanDuel after you enter your contests. See Download your entries CSV. It sends the file to DFS Hero in the first way it can:

  1. An agent that can run commands sends the file through a one-time upload link.
  2. When it cannot reach DFS Hero and your entries hold no lineups yet, it sends the entry ids for each contest. DFS Hero writes the rest of each row.
  3. Otherwise it gives you a link to the slate in DFS Hero, and you drop the file on that page.
  4. As a last resort it types the file's entry rows into its request, which is slow for a big file.

An import replaces the slate's current entries file and the lineups in it, as an upload in the app does.

After the fill, the agent gives you the filled CSV as a one-time download link that works for 15 minutes. You upload that file on DraftKings or FanDuel yourself. See Export and upload to DraftKings or Export and upload to FanDuel.

What it never does

  • It never enters contests on DraftKings or FanDuel, and it never uploads a file there. You enter and upload from your own account.
  • It never deposits, withdraws, or changes your site accounts.
  • It never sees other accounts or the DFS Hero team's tools.
