FREE 8/9 LoL Cheat Sheet: Top DFS Plays

Friday’s early morning LCK slate has two best of threes scheduled. The first game has GenG vs KT, and the second game has T1 taking on NS. I am using the tools found on DFSHero.com to identify the best plays for this slate. This slate is pretty straightforward on the surface, but let’s see if we can find some differentiation spots.

LoL Strategy

Just like with other DFS sports, LoL has specific build types that tend to be more successful over a long period of time. In these breakdowns, top stacks is what will be discussed the most. If you are new to LoL, I recommend reading the strategy article that DFS Hero provides, LoL DFS Strategy.

Tuesday’s Slate Breakdown

Game 1: GenG vs KT

Notes: GenG is easily the best team in the LCK. They are highly favored in this match, and it should be a quick 2-0. GenG is also the bloodiest team in the LCK this split, with KT at number 3. Targeting 4 player GenG stacks should be the way to go as they should have high kill games which lead to high scores. Technically KT should be more desperate to win with playoffs on the way, but I don’t think that even matters here.

• Kiin (Top - $6,400)

KT

• PerfecT (Top - $5,600)

Game 2: T1 vs. NS

Notes: T1 is the most historic team in the LCK with the most historic player (Faker). They have not had a very good split this summer, though. Despite that, they should still have an easy time with NS in the match tomorrow morning. Both of these teams, however, are low output in terms of kills, which leads to less DK points overall. Consider using T1 to round out your lineups. If you are looking for the lower ownership aspect, then target NS as your contrarian stack. I don’t think it works out often, but if it does, it should be less of a split at the top.
