FREE 12/29 NFL Cheat Sheet: Top DFS Pivots
December 28, 2024
Moving off the chalk has always been a guide to success in DFS. Let’s explore what the simulation and projected ownership say about where we can pivot from the public and gain an edge on the field.
Quarterbacks
Good Chalk: Baker
Bad Chalk: Allen, Darnold, Richardson
Pivots: Love, Young
Value: O’Connell
Tipsy: Rudolph
I am concentrating on Love and Baker. Allen might not have reason to finish the whole game, and I don’t think it scores well anyway. I can’t trust Richardson, and he fades harder when he is chalk. Give me any guy against the Jags. Rudolph could be a steal this week.
Running Backs
Good Chalk: Bucky, Barkley, Achane
Bad Chalk: Kamara, Jones, Hubbard
Pivots: Jacobs, Taylor, Cook
Value: Mattison, White, Spears, Hall
Tipsy: Singletary, Mims
I can’t get away from Bucky, but a pivot to White could be a play, too. I am not scared of Barkley, I think they give a solid effort to get him his 252 yards he needs for the record. I am in love with the GB/MIN game through the air, which means historically, the ground games will blow up, lol. What if they don’t want Tracy to get hurt, and Singletary gets a big share at near-bottom pricing… There is little reason for Kamara to go hard. Miller might just be bad, and maybe, just maybe, Mims gets the run.
Wide Receivers
Good Chalk: Jefferson, Evans, BTJ, Thielen,
Bad Chalk: Waddle, Coker, McMillan, Shakir, Nabers, Downs
Pivots: Meyers, Addison, Hill, Reed, Jeudy, Adams
Value: Wicks, Washington, Eli Moore
Tipsy: Tre Tucker, Turpin, Pettis
Give me all the GB/TB/CAR/MIN, and go from there.
Tight Ends
Good Chalk: Hockenson
Bad Chalk: Johnson, Kincaid
Pivots: Bowers, Smith, Kraft, Ferguson
Value: Chig, Strange, Akins
Tipsy: Payne
Defenses
So many are just fine, so go with what you can afford: Eagles, Colts, Dolphins, Raiders, Titans, Browns.
