Week 17 DraftKings DFS GPP Plays

Quarterback Plays

Sam Darnold, Vikings $6,400

I expect the Vikings to be in a shoot out, and Darnold has the best weapons in the game. Look for at least 250 passing yards and 2 touchdowns on his way to 20-plus fantasy points.

Jordan Love, Packers $6,200

Like Darnold, I expect 250 yards and at least two touchdowns. The Packers have relied on RB Josh Jacobs, but the way to attack the Vikings is through the air.

Byrce Young, Panthers $5,600

The Buccaneers are a tough team to run against but are very leaky in the secondary. Young has shown improvement in passing the ball and isn’t afraid to run. I think he finds a way to 20-plus points.

DFS Hero Top Two Valued QB Plays

• Sam Darnold, Vikings $6,400
• Aidan O’Connell, Raiders $5,100

Running Back Plays

Jonathan Taylor, Colts $7,900

Taylor is coming off a 200-plus-yard, 3-TD performance. He won’t duplicate those numbers but should be good for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Bucky Irving, Buccaneers $6,700

Irving is in a strong spot against a bad Panther-run defense. He scored 30.5 points a month ago against them, so he should be priced well over 7 K.

Aaron Jones, Vikings $6,200

I think Jones is a lock to score against his former team, and the Packers allow a ton of points to the opposing team’s running backs. I think he could score 20 points and will be featured in many lineups that do not have the Viking passing game.

Jerome Ford, Browns $5,900

Nobody is talking about Ford, which is expected to have less than 4% ownership, according to the DFS Hero Optimizer. He will get all the volume and make catch passes. If he scores, he will break 20 points for the second week in a row.

• Chuba Hubbard, Panthers $7,000
• De’Von Achane, Dolphins $7,700

Wide Receiver Plays

Justin Jefferson, Vikings $8,300

Jefferson has a 30-plus ceiling and should be priced even higher. Even if CB Jaire Alexander plays, I don’t think the Packers will cover him.

Mike Evans, Buccaneers, $7,500

Evans is just shy of 200 yards for his eleventh straight 1,000 yards season. I expect Baker Mayfield to feed him the ball and surpass 100 yards. My favorite receiver play on the board.

Jakobi Meyers, Raiders $6,000

Meyers should have a solid game against a terrible Saints pass defense. I predict seven catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.

Jayden Reed, Packers $5,900

The Vikings struggle to cover slot receivers, and I think Reed has 5 catches minimum. A trip to the end zone and he should break 20 points. I also like Packer receiver Dontayvion Wicks, $3900 as a sleeper if Christian Watson is out.

Adam Thielen, Panthers $5,700

I expect the crafty receiver to get open and get many looks against a bad Tampa secondary. He should make five or more catches. Panther receiver Jalen Coker’s $4,200 could be a great option, as one should have a solid game.

• Jakobi Meyers, Raiders $6,000
• Justin Jefferson, Vikings $8,300

Tight End Plays

Brock Bowers, Raiders $6,700

A slate-breaking type of tight end against a very bad Saint’s defense. He should be treated as a wide receiver.

Jonnu Smith, Dolphins $5,700

Smith should see plenty of targets against a mediocre Brown’s defense. Smith has been the Dolphin’s most consistent receiving option.

T.J. Hockenson, Vikings $4,500

I expect the Packers to focus on the Viking outside receiver, leaving Hockenson open across the middle. Look for 5 plus catches and his first receiving touchdown.
