FREE 7/8 LoL Cheat Sheet: Top DFS Plays

Monday’s early morning LPL slate has two good best of threes scheduled. The first game is Team WE taking on the new look EDG, and the second game has AL taking on LGD. I am using the tools found on DFSHero.com to identify the best plays for this slate.

LoL Strategy

Just like with other DFS sports, LoL has specific build types that tend to be more successful over a long period of time. In these breakdowns, top stacks is what will be discussed the most. If you are new to LoL, I recommend reading the strategy article that DFS Hero provides, LoL DFS Strategy.

Monday’s Slate Breakdown

Game 1: Team WE (-132) vs. EDG (+132)

Notes: Even though EDG has looked better to start the split, I do think that Team WE has the better team, and should win this matchup in 2 games. I would be careful going heavy on Team WE 4 stacks, though because both of these teams play at a slow pace, which can be dangerous for fantasy scores. Look at using WE for your secondary stacks, and be heavier on the Team spot for Team WE because their map control is really good, and they are very objective focused, which leads to higher team scores. If you would like to get different, this game should be the game to target because EDG has the best chance on the slate to upset. I will have a few shares of EDG’s botlane in order to have some lineups with the most expensive captains.

Game 2: AL (-225) vs. LGD (+225)

Notes: I fully expect AL to beat LGD in this series 2-0. AL has looked like one of the top 4 teams in the LpL this split, and while LGD has had an amazing split compared to previous years, AL should be too much for them to handle. Currently, AL plays at the fastest pace in the league, so I would target them as my 4 man stacks more often. The tools agree with that because I currently have the most 4 stacks of AL. I would also push to get your captain from AL as well because of their fast paced play.
