Open a slate in Scouting

Last updated Oct 25, 2026

A slate page shows how a pro played one slate: the whole player pool, the best lineup, and each contest. It needs Power. To open it, click a row in the Slates table of a report. See Read a Scouting report.

The scoreboard

TileWhat it means
NETPayout minus entry fees on this slate, with the spend under it.
ROIThe net as a share of the entry fees, with the payout under it.
ENTRIESThe pro's entries on this slate.
CONTESTSThe pro's tracked contests on this slate.
BEST FINISHThe pro's best rank, with the field size under it.
PLAYERSThe players in the pro's lineups, and the number of lineups.

Under the scoreboard, the section What sets name apart gives the biggest gaps between the pro and the top 1% on this slate's contests. A note from one contest is a small sample.

Best lineup

This section shows the lineup behind the best finish. Its caption gives the rank, the field size, the contest, and what the entry paid on its entry fee.

ColumnWhat it shows
SeatThe roster seat, in the site's order. The captain seat (CPT on DraftKings, MVP on FanDuel) is in bold.
PlayerThe player in that seat.
SalaryThe player's salary in that seat. Hidden on a phone.
PointsThe player's points in that seat. A captain's points include the captain multiplier.
Field %The share of the contest's lineups that played the player in that seat.

The Total row adds the salary and gives the lineup's score. A seat's points read - when the saved points of the players do not add up to the lineup's score.

Click Leaderboard to open the contest's leaderboard in the Contest Analyzer, searched for the pro.

Player pool

The caption gives the size of the pool as a share of the slate's projected players, and how many players two of the pro's lineups differ by.

  • Each player has a purple bar for the share of the pro's lineups that hold him, largest first.
  • The white tick on the bar and the FIELD column give the field's share of the contest lineups that hold him.
  • On a slate with a captain seat, the pool splits into two lists, such as As CPT and As FLEX on DraftKings or As MVP and As UTIL on FanDuel. Each list gives the share in that seat.
  • The last list names the players that the field played most and that the pro played in no lineup.

Play style

The same play style board as the report, for this slate's contests only. See Read a Scouting report.

Contests

The table lists each of the pro's contests on the slate, the largest field first, with Contest, Field, Entries, Best, and Net. The Analyzer column has two links into the Contest Analyzer:

  • The list icon opens the contest's leaderboard, searched for the pro.
  • The chart icon opens Pro Tendencies at the top 1%, with the pro selected.

See Contest results.

Tips

  • Compare the pro's exposure with the field's. A player the pro played far more or far less than the field shows where the pro took a stand.
  • Read the list of the field's top plays that the pro left out before you copy a pool. A pro often wins by leaving a popular player out.
  • On a showdown slate, read the captain list on its own. The captain choice moves a showdown lineup more than any other seat.
