Every Scouting report has a section that sets your own play beside the pro's. It reads your tracked contests on the same site with the same filters, and it can write a short take on what the pro does well and what you can try. The section needs Power. See Read a Scouting report.
Before you start
- DFS Hero must track your contests. Upload your entries files, save your DraftKings and FanDuel usernames in Settings > Profile, or do both. See Film Room.
- Open the report on the site where you play. The comparison reads only your contests on the site of the report.
The stat boxes
The section is headed with the pro's name and and you. It shows one box for each stat, the pro's number on top and yours under it.
| Box | What it compares |
|---|---|
| CONTESTS | The tracked contests. |
| AVG ENTRIES | The entries per contest. |
| ROI | The net as a share of the entry fees. |
| OWNERSHIP PERCENTILE | Where each lineup's total ownership ranks in its own contest, from 0 (the lowest owned) to 100. |
| TOP 1% | The top 1% finishes as a multiple of a random entry's. |
| CASHED | The cashes as a multiple of a random entry's. |
The boxes need no AI, so they show as soon as the report opens. With no tracked contests of yours on the site and filters, the section says so and shows only the pro's numbers.
Get the scout's take
- Pick the sport, format, and dates you want to compare at the top of the report.
- Click Get the scout's take.
- Wait up to a minute while DFS Hero reads both records.
- Read the take:
- Scout's take: a short summary of how the pro plays and wins.
- Strengths: what works for the pro.
- You vs. and the pro's name: where your play differs from the pro's.
- Game plan: the steps to try in your next builds.
DFS Hero keeps the take for this pro, site, and filters. The caption says when it was written. When the numbers change, for example after a new slate, the take hides and the section says so. Click Write the take again to read it with the new numbers.
The take is advice from AI, written from the numbers on the page. It does not change your settings or build anything.
Ask Hero Chat about the pros
Hero Chat works on the Scouting page. Open it with the Hero Chat button in the top bar. The context chip reads Scouting, and the starter prompts ask about the pros, such as "Who are the featured pros?" and "Which pro plays the lowest owned lineups?".
- Hero Chat can list the featured pros on every plan.
- On Power it reads a full report: a featured pro, or a name on your watchlist.
- On Power it also reads one slate of a report: the pro's players, the best lineup, and the field's top plays the pro left out.
- On Essential it gives a featured pro's headline, and the full report stays a Power feature.
Hero Chat sees the report you have open, with its filters and its slate. Ask "What does this pro do differently?" on a report, or "Why did this slate go wrong?" on a slate. To ask about another pro, name the pro and the site, for example "How does youdacao build NFL showdown lineups on DraftKings?".
See Meet Hero Chat.
Tips
- Compare on one sport and one format. A pro's showdown habits tell you little about your classic builds.
- Use the Game plan with the slate page. Open a slate where the pro won, and read the pool and the best lineup beside the plan. See Open a slate in Scouting.
- Write the take again after a few new slates. A take from a small sample can change.
