FREE 7/16 LoL Cheat Sheet: Top DFS Plays

Tuesday’s early morning LPL slate has two good best of threes scheduled. The first game has Rare Atom taking on EDG, and the second game has FPX taking on NIP. I am using the tools found on DFSHero.com to identify the best plays for this slate. This slate is going to be an interesting one where the teams are pretty evenly matched, which could lead to some wild outcomes.

LoL Strategy

Just like with other DFS sports, LoL has specific build types that tend to be more successful over a long period of time. In these breakdowns, top stacks is what will be discussed the most. If you are new to LoL, I recommend reading the strategy article that DFS Hero provides, LoL DFS Strategy.

Tuesday’s Slate Breakdown

Game 1: Rare Atom (+145) vs. EDG (-145)

Notes: Currently, EDG is favored to win, but I think RA has been in better form recently, making this a solid spot for you to save some money. This set should go to three games, and as the lines suggest, it will be close for who wins it in the end. RA is a much bloodier team than EDG, so I expect this to be a pace up game where RA is forcing fights around objectives. Look to get carry players from Rare Atom, or the Team slot from EDG depending on which team you are deciding to stack.

Game 2: FPX (132.5) vs. NIP (-132.5)

Notes: This series would have been super hype at the end of last split, but currently, both of these teams are in very poor form. This is another game where I don’t really agree with the odds, especially based on NIP’s current form, however, it is still really close so if you are building multiple lines, I would have exposure to both teams in this game as well. If you are stacking FPX, start with Care and Milkyway as your key pieces, and if you are stacking NIP, look to start with Zhuo and Shanji
