Hero IQ

Last updated Oct 15, 2026

Hero IQ is coaching written from your own history in DFS Hero: your builds, your Playbooks, your settings, your uploaded entries, and your contest results. It appears as a Hero IQ card on the Dashboard and a Hero IQ band in Film Room. It tells you where you are strong, where you leak money, and what to do next. It never builds a lineup.

Power plan. Hero IQ is part of the Power plan. On Essential the Dashboard shows a teaser card and the Film Room band is absent.

Before you start

  • An active Power subscription. See Plans: Essential and Power.
  • At least 5 builds on your account. See Your first build.
  • For the Film Room coaching, results in Film Room: a contest DFS Hero tracked by your saved username, or an imported contest history. See Film Room.

Read Hero IQ

  1. Open the Dashboard and find the Hero IQ card. Its Reviewed stamp tells you how old the coaching is.
  2. Read the headline and the summary.
  3. Read TOP OPPORTUNITIES. Each item names a feature or a habit, rates its impact, and says what to do.
  4. Read STRENGTHS, each with the number behind it.
  5. Read SPORT SPOTLIGHT. It names your main sport and what your history shows there.

  1. Open Film Room. Once it has results, a Hero IQ band sits above the tabs. It starts closed with its headline in view; click it to open.

How it works

Hero IQ builds a profile from your account activity and writes each lens from it. The review runs twice a day, when new contest results match your entries, and when you import or delete a history file in Film Room. New Film Room coaching can take up to five minutes to appear after an import. A newly tracked contest reaches the coaching at the next twice-daily review.

A lens is skipped when your profile did not change since the last review, so the Reviewed stamp can advance while the text stays the same. There is no refresh button. Hero IQ uses no credits.

Tips

  • Save your site usernames, and import your older contest history in Film Room. The Film Room and Contests lenses need results, and the Dashboard lens gets sharper with them.
  • Read Leaks first. It names the contest types or habits that cost you money.
  • Compare Best Format and Avoid with your entries before you upload the next batch.
  • Check the Reviewed stamp. Coaching older than a day reflects results before your last slate.

Troubleshooting

The stamp moved but the text did not change : your profile did not change since the last review. Build, upload entries, or import a contest history and wait for the next review.
