The Dashboard is your home page outside the workspace. It sums up your build activity, your Hero IQ coaching, your contest results, and your recent slates on one screen. Open it for a quick read on how much you build, which sports you play, and whether your contest history is making money. Nothing on the Dashboard changes a build.
Before you start
- Open a slate and build at least once. Most widgets read your builds, so a new account sees empty states.
- Save your site usernames in Settings > Profile, or import a contest history CSV in Film Room, if you want the Film Room and Recent Results widgets. They read the same results as Film Room. See Film Room.
- Hero IQ needs the Power plan and at least 5 builds. See Hero IQ.
Open the Dashboard
Click Dashboard in the top bar. On a phone, tap your avatar and choose Dashboard from the drawer.

How it works
Where the numbers come from
Every build widget counts your builds and adds up the lineups each build produced. Optimizer builds, sims, build-and-sim runs, and cloud builds all count. The Film Room and Recent Results widgets read the same rows as Film Room: the contests DFS Hero tracks by your username and the contest history CSVs you import, with one count per entry.
The auto-widen rule
When your chosen window has zero builds, a widget widens the window on its own and tells you, for example "No activity in last 7 days - showing last 30 days." Pick a wider window yourself to remove the note.
The Film Room widget shows one site
The Film Room widget uses the same math as Film Room, with all sports and no date range. It shows DraftKings when you have any DraftKings entries, otherwise FanDuel. The trend pill reads Winning above 5% ROI, Losing below -5%, and Even in between. Best sport is the sport with the highest ROI among sports with 10 or more entries.
Hero IQ states
- Under 5 builds: the card counts your builds toward the first review.
- First run pending: the first review lands within about 12 hours.
- Ready: the headline, summary, opportunities, strengths, and sport spotlight.
- Essential plan: the card offers Upgrade to Power.
Tips
- Use Recent Slates as your fastest way back into a build.
- Watch Sports Breakdown during a busy week. A sport that eats 80% of your builds and none of your profit is worth a second look in Film Room.
- Save your site usernames in Settings > Profile. The Film Room widget and Recent Results then stay current with no import.
- Set the Overview window to All Time once in a while. Lineups Generated over your whole history is the number Hero IQ reads when it judges your volume.
- Link Discord from Settings > Security to earn credits. The Discord Community widget shows your level and the credit tied to it.
Troubleshooting
"No activity in last 30 days - showing last 90 days." : your chosen window has no builds. Pick a wider window or build a slate.
"No build activity yet" : the heatmap or the daily chart has no builds to show. Open a slate and click Build.
"No sports data yet" : the Sports Breakdown has no builds in its window. Build a slate or widen the window.
"No recent slates" : you have no builds in the last year. Build a slate to fill the list.
"Currently unavailable" under Available Credits : billing could not be reached. Refresh the page. Your balance is unchanged.
"Unable to load insights. Please try again later." : the Hero IQ read failed. Refresh the page. If it keeps failing, check Hero IQ.
"The dashboard encountered an error" : a widget crashed while drawing. Your data is safe. Click Try again.
