A combined build is a build tab that generates nothing. It holds lineups you bring from other tabs on the same slate. Build stacked lineups on one tab, contrarian lineups on another, then combine the two into one pool and fill your entries from it.
Before you start
- You need at least one built tab on the slate. A combined build takes lineups from your other tabs.
- A combined build holds at most your plan's lineup limit: 500 on Essential, 10,000 on Power.
- The same players in a different slot order count as one lineup. Duplicates are skipped. On a showdown slate, the same players with a different captain or MVP are two lineups.
Open a combined build
- Right-click any build tab.
- Choose New combined build. A tab named Combined 1 opens, and the lineups panel asks which builds to add.
Build Settings, Rebuild, and Save as playbook do not apply to a combined build. It has no settings of its own.
Import whole builds
- On the combined build, check the builds you want and click Import Selected. Or click Import All to take every normal build on the slate in one step. Another combined build is never imported; use Copy or Move for its lineups.
- The message says how many lineups came in, how many were duplicates, and how many were dropped at your plan's limit.
To add more later, open the lineups panel menu and choose Import More Builds.
Copy or move chosen lineups
Select mode lets you pick lineups one at a time from any build.
- On the source build, open the Pool tab or the Entries Preview tab and click the checklist icon in the header row. A checkbox appears on every lineup.
- Check the lineups you want. With a Pool filter on, Select all N checks every lineup the filter matches.
- In the bar, open More and choose Copy to build or Move to build, then pick a combined build or New combined build.
Copy leaves the source lineups where they are. Move sends them to the source build's trash once the copy is saved. Only the lineups the combined build took are moved; a duplicate or a lineup dropped at the limit stays put.
Read the combined build
- Each card carries a badge with the name of the build it came from. A badge reads Deleted build when that tab is gone.
- Imported lineups arrive without simulation results. Click Simulate on the combined build to rank them against its own contests.
- Fill, export, Rank by, exposure caps, and the trash work the same as on any build.
Tips
- Combine before you fill. One pool means one set of exposure caps and one fill across every idea.
- Copy the top of one build and the top of another. A filter plus Select all N does that in two clicks.
- Move keeps a lineup in one place. Copy lets a lineup live in two tabs at once.
Troubleshooting
Nothing was added : every lineup you sent was already in the combined build, or the build is at your plan's limit. The message says which.
A lineup I copied is missing : the combined build was at its limit, and the lowest-projected lineups were dropped first. The message names the count.
Import More Builds is not in the menu : the tab is a normal build. The item shows only on a combined build.
