NASCAR is a one-race slate. Drivers score from finishing position, position differential (start minus finish, so a driver who loses places loses points), and laps led; DraftKings adds a point share for each fastest lap, and FanDuel adds one for each lap completed. The starting grid decides most of the value. DFS Hero supports NASCAR on DraftKings and FanDuel, and the workspace hides every team-based control.

| FanDuel | Classic | D, D, D, D, D (5 drivers) | $50,000 |
There are no team limits.
The Player Pool
NASCAR has no position tabs and no Team or Opp columns. With Advanced Mode on, the multiplier columns run from 8X to 11.5X on DraftKings and from 7X to 11X on FanDuel.
Build Settings
NASCAR has no sport rules and no Stacks or Min/Max tab. Use the Exposure tab and the Min Exp and Max Exp columns to control how often each driver appears. Min Unique Players goes up to 5 on DraftKings and 4 on FanDuel.
The Groups tab adds a Grid metric to its Filter by metric helper, so you can pick drivers by starting position. A common rule is "At Least 2 of these drivers" for the drivers starting outside the top 20, who carry the most position-differential upside.

How the sim treats NASCAR
The contest simulator draws whole-event outcomes, so linked driver results move together; the per-game Game Sim panel is not available for this sport. Read the sim results as a ranking of your lineups against each other.
Tips
- Build around the starting grid. Drivers who start deep in the field and have fast cars gain points for every place between their start and their finish: one point per place on DraftKings, half a point on FanDuel.
- Dominators matter in races with many laps, because laps led score on both sites and fastest laps score on DraftKings. In a long race take 1 or 2 drivers who can lead laps and pair them with position-differential plays.
- In a large GPP, use Aggressive Smart Randomness and a Max Exposure % of 40. Crashes take out favorites at random, and a flat pool survives them.
- In cash contests, take drivers with clean recent finishes who start mid-pack, and set Smart Randomness to Minimum.
- Use a Grid group rule to hold at least 2 drivers from the back half of the field in every lineup.
- Rebuild after qualifying. The grid is not final until then, and projections change with it.
