Build Settings overview
Open the Settings sheet with Build, read its header, tabs, and footer, choose Build Only or Build & Sim, and learn how settings are saved.
The Basic tab
Entries Preview, Build Mode, the Core fields, Randomness, Constraints, and Sport Rules, with every default and range.
Randomness
Smart Randomness scales variance to each player's volatility in three tiers. Manual Randomness applies one flat percentage. Here is how each changes the pool.
The Exposure tab
Cap or guarantee how often any player appears across the lineups a build makes, and choose which players the limits apply to.
The Min/Max tab
Set how many players a lineup can take from one team or one game, with a default for every team and overrides for single teams and games.
The Stacks tab
Build correlated lineups with Position Stack, Team Stack, Quick Stack, and Showdown Distribution rules, up to 5 rules per build.
Group rules
Write Min/Max rules over a set of players and If/Then rules that link one set of players to another, with an optional exposure cap per rule.
Templates
Save your settings as a template and reuse it on every slate for that sport and site.
Sport rules by sport
What the Sport Rules card on the Basic tab holds for each sport and site, what each rule does, and which stack families and limits each sport gets.
Pool size and lineup count
The lineup count in the footer sets the pool size. Typed counts, shortcuts, the plan caps of 500 and 10,000, and how the pool relates to Entries Preview.
