Entries on the Day View

Last updated Sep 27, 2026

The Day View shows every slate of a day at once. The slates where you uploaded entries sit on top, under My slates, with your entry count on each one. Use it as your checklist before lock: a slate with an amber warning icon still needs a build and a fill, and a slate with a Download button has a filled file ready.

Before you start

What a slate shows

In the table the count sits in the Entries column, beside an icon for where the slate stands; point at the icon to read its name. In the card view it is a badge beside the slate name, amber while some entries hold no lineup.

Locked slateThe upload icon is disabledThe slate passed its first lock. Open the Entries view or the Swap sheet inside the workspace for changes.

An upload from the Day View runs every upload check and shows Upload failed with the reason when one fails. On the Power plan, an upload from the Day View can schedule your default Playbook. See Schedule a cloud build.

When a slate's contests need payout info, the Unmatched contests dialog opens right on the Day View too. Its answers create sim scenarios for those contests.

The stats bar

The bar under the tabs sums the day: slates with entries, slates that need attention, entered contests, entries, and total entry fees. Watch Attention. It counts the slates that still need something from you. The Next Lock countdown on the right turns amber close to lock. Export before it reaches zero.

My slates and pinned tabs

My slates opens every site tab of the Day View. It holds each slate where you uploaded entries for the date, plus any multi-day slate you entered that still has games to play. The same slates stay pinned at the start of the tab strip in the top bar. A pinned tab has a pin in place of its close button, and it stays until the slate has no entries. See Open and manage slate tabs.

The ENTERED group in the CONTESTS rail

Inside the workspace, the CONTESTS rail lists your entered contests at the top under ENTERED, each with an N entered badge. Every other contest follows under ALL CONTESTS.

When an entered contest is not in the slate's contest list, an amber strip above the list reads N unmatched contest(s) from your entries with the button Add payout info. See Find contests.

How it works

  • The badge counts entries that hold a lineup against the entries in the file. Download appears as soon as the first entry holds a lineup.
  • Download downloads your saved entries as they are, with the same checks and warnings as the entries popover.
  • One entry set is active per slate.

Tips

  • Use Download on the Day View when you only need the file again. Open the slate tab when you want to change the fill first.

Troubleshooting

"Upload failed" : the file failed a check. The toast holds the reason. See Entries errors.

"Couldn't save the contest info. Your answers weren't stored, so the prompt will re-open on the slate." : the payout answers did not save. Open the slate and answer the dialog again.

"Slate is locked" : the slate passed its first lock, so upload is closed. Open the Entries view or the Swap sheet inside the workspace for changes after lock.
