The Entries view shows what your entries hold right now: the lineup in every entry, grouped by contest, plus the player and team exposure across those entries. It reads the entry set DFS Hero stores for the slate, so it works on a phone or on a second computer with no build open. Use it to check a fill before you export, to sweat your lineups after kickoff, and to pick the entries you want to swap.
Before you start
- Upload an entries CSV for the slate. See Upload your entries.
- Fill the entries from a build, or upload a file that already holds lineups. An entry with no lineup shows in the Not filled group.
Open the Entries view
Four places open it:
- The entries button in the workspace toolbar. Click View entries in the popover.
- The Day View. A slate with entries carries a list icon next to the upload icon. So does a past slate with tracked results, even when you uploaded no entries for it.
- The command palette. Press Cmd/Ctrl+K in a workspace and pick View entries.
- The Your results are in notification. It opens the slate's Entries view after the contests end.
Press Escape or click the X to return to where you were.
Read the view
The header names the site, the sport, and the slate, with the entry count and the fees, and shows the next lock time or All games started. Export downloads the entries file with the lineups as they are now, with the same checks as the entries popover.
The contest list on the left starts with All contests. Each contest row shows its color dot, the entry fee, the money at stake, the entry count, and how many entries are still empty. Click a contest to narrow both tabs to it. On a phone the list is a row of chips under the header.
Lineups
One card per entry that holds a lineup. The card shows the entry id, the stack badge, and one row per seat with the player, the team, the salary, the projection, and the ownership. The total row sums the seats. Sort the cards by Projection, Salary, or Entry id, by Actual on a past slate, and by Finish once your results arrive.
The line above the cards counts the entries with a lineup and names the build they came from: from 7:42 PM, with a ticket mark. Click it to open that build in the workspace. Entries a scheduled cloud build filled, or a build you deleted since, show no build name. See Saved builds and tabs.
- A lock on a player means that player's game started. A card with every seat locked shows a lock in place of the checkbox.
- A player DFS Hero could not match to the slate shows the name from your file with no numbers.
- Not filled at the bottom lists the entries with no lineup. A skipped entry shows a skipped mark.
- The cards load 60 at a time. Click the button under the cards for the next 60.
Exposure
The Players table lists every player your entries hold, with the exposure bar, the entry count, the ownership, the leverage (exposure minus ownership), the salary, and the projection. Every entry counts once, so a lineup entered in two contests counts twice under All contests. Click a player to narrow the Lineups tab to the entries that hold that player.
The Exposure view dropdown switches to Teams, Stacks, Pairs, or Games. Those tables count a player once per lineup whatever the seat.
On a showdown or single-game slate the Players table adds a Combined and By seat toggle. Combined shows one row per player, whatever the seat, and breaks the count down as captain and flex. By seat shows a row per player per seat, with the captain row at the captain salary and projection.
Past slates
On a slate whose date has passed, the lineup cards and the Players table add the final scores. A card total shows a score only when every player in the lineup has a final score, and reads Pending until then. A player with no final score yet shows a dash. The Teams, Stacks, Pairs, and Games tables keep their projections. The slate's own day shows projections only, even after the last game ends.
Once DFS Hero has a contest's final standings, the view adds your tracked results. See Film Room.
- The header adds the slate's net and your best place. On a phone they take the place of the entry count and the fees. With more than one contest, the best place names its field, such as best 518th of 258,843, because it is your best finish share.
- Each contest row in the list shows your best place and net, such as Best 1,204th · +$12.50, in place of the fee line. The All contests row names the field of its best place, as the header does. On a phone the chips keep their counts.
- Each card shows the entry's place, the field size on a wide card, a Top 1% badge when it finished in the top 1% of its field, and the payout. Point at it to see the finish, the points short of the top-1% and cash lines, and how many other entries played the same lineup.
- The Players table adds Field, the share of the field's lineups that held the player, and Pts ±, the points per lineup the player gained or cost you against the field. On a phone they replace the ownership and leverage columns.
- An entry you played with a different lineup than it holds now, or that holds none now, shows the lineup you played and a Played on site badge. Swap and Export still use the lineup the entry holds.
- The row above the cards counts those entries, such as 3 played another lineup. The usual cause is a filled file that did not go back to the site before lock. On a phone, an amber icon with the count opens the same note.
- When you saved no username for the slate's site, the same row links to Add your DraftKings username to track contests outside DFS Hero. Your results on that slate came from the entries you uploaded. On a phone, a person icon opens the note and the link.
- An entry DFS Hero found by your site username, in no entries file you uploaded, shows with a Tracked badge. It has no checkbox, because there is no uploaded entry to swap or fill. A slate where you uploaded nothing still opens and shows these entries.
Swap from the Entries view
- Tick the entries you want to swap. A bar appears with the count.
- Click Swap. The Swap sheet opens with those entries selected.
- Preview and apply the swap as usual. See Run a late swap.
- Click Apply & Download, or Export in the header, and upload the file to the site.
On a phone the swap runs on DFS Hero's side and takes at most 1,000 different lineups in one preview. The bar shows the cap. Ticks above it are still allowed, and Preview Swaps then refuses with "Swap up to 1,000 unique lineups at a time on a phone. Deselect some entries and try again." Untick some entries and preview again.
How it works
- The view reads the entry set on DFS Hero's side and the slate's player data. It never reads a build, so a fill or a swap from another device shows here after a refresh, and the view refreshes when you return to the tab.
- Entries Preview in the workspace is the plan: the lineups a Fill would write. The Entries view is what the entries hold now, and what you export to the site. A prefilled upload with no build fills the Entries view and leaves Entries Preview empty. See The lineups panel.
- The salary, projection, and ownership on each seat come from the slate's current player data, so the totals move when projections refresh.
- Export here downloads the lineups the entries hold. It never fills entries first. Export in the entries popover also downloads the saved entries. When they differ from the build's preview, it asks first: Fill, then export or Export as saved. See Export and upload to DraftKings.
Tips
- Open the Entries view right after a fill and scan the Players table. An exposure far above the ownership is a leverage bet you made on purpose or a fill you want to redo.
- Check one contest at a time before a big upload. All contests blends a 20-entry contest with a single entry.
- After kickoff, sort by Projection and tick the lowest cards for a swap.
- On a past slate, sort the cards by Actual to see which entries scored best, or by Finish to see your best places.
Troubleshooting
"No entries for this slate": the entry set was deleted, on this device or another. Upload the file again.
"No entry in this contest holds a lineup yet.": the contest is in your file, and no fill reached it. Fill from the workspace, or check that the contest is switched on in Contest Setup. See Contest Setup and Fill.
A player shows no salary or projection: DFS Hero could not match the name in your file to a player on the slate. The lineup still exports as it was uploaded.
