Edit the pool

Last updated Oct 14, 2026

Editing the pool means keeping the lineups you want and removing the rest without building again. You have three tools: FilterIQ to narrow what you browse on the Pool tab, Trash to remove lineups from Entries Preview and the next fill, and Rebuild when the settings themselves need to change.

Before you start

Filter the pool with FilterIQ

  1. Open the Pool tab in the lineups panel.
  2. Click the funnel icon left of the Rank by dropdown.

  1. Click Add filter and pick a field: Projection, Salary, Ownership, or Value. Optimal shows when every lineup in the pool was built since Sep 20, 2026. After a simulation the list adds ROI, Win Prob, Cash%, Top 1%, Top 5%, Leverage, Floor, Ceiling, and GeoMean.
  2. Type the low and high bounds. A new filter starts at the pool's own lowest and highest values. The sim filters read the contest picked beside Rank by, or the contest you choose lineups for.

  1. Click Apply. The Pool tab shows how many lineups match.

  1. Review the matching count, then click Trash All to move every matching lineup to the trash. To clear the filter instead, click the funnel and Reset.

Hero AI sentence filter

Power plan. The HERO AI box in the Filter popover shows only on the Power plan.

  1. Type a sentence in the HERO AI box, for example "Show top 50% ownership" or "Remove lineups with ROI below 0".
  2. Click Build it.
  3. The filters it built appear in the FILTERS section with a confidence percentage. Edit them if needed, then click Apply.

Trash lineups

  1. In the exposure grid, click the trash icon on a player's row (Trash lineups with this player).
  2. When the sweep would trash more than 10% of the pool, a dialog asks you to confirm and states how many lineups move to the trash and how many remain. Read the remaining count before you confirm. A pool that drops below your entry count leaves entries empty.

  1. A sweep of 10% or less runs at once and shows the toast Moved N lineups to trash with an Undo action for 10 seconds.
  2. To trash one lineup, hover its card in the panel and click the Trash icon, or hover its row in Table view and click Trash lineup.
  3. A Trash accordion appears at the bottom of the Entries Preview tab. Expand it to see the trashed lineups.

  1. Hover a trashed card and click Restore to return it to the pool, or Delete permanently to remove it for good. Empty Trash in the accordion header deletes every trashed lineup.

Rebuild or start a new build

  1. Click Rebuild in the toolbar. The Settings sheet opens with the build's settings.
  2. Change what you need. The sheet footer warns: Replaces your current lineups. This can't be undone.

  1. Click Rebuild in the footer to replace the pool. Close the sheet to keep the pool as it is.
  2. To keep the current pool and try other settings, click + (Add new build) in the toolbar instead. The new tab copies the active build's settings and starts empty. See Saved builds and tabs.

Every control

ControlWhat it does
Values / Percentiles switchValues takes raw numbers. Percentiles takes 0 to 100. Flipping converts every staged filter.
Low to highThe range for one field. A reversed pair swaps on Apply. A range that still spans the whole pool is dropped.
Trash AllMoves every lineup the filter shows to the trash, then clears the filter.
Trash icon (grid row)Trashes every pool lineup with that player. Confirms above 10% of the pool.
Trash shown (N)Trashes the lineups the filter and hide chips in the exposure grid currently show.
Undo (toast)Restores exactly the lineups the last sweep trashed. Available for 10 seconds.

How it works

FilterIQ narrows what the Pool tab shows. It never changes Entries Preview, exports, fills, or simulations. The one action that reaches the pool from a filter is Trash All. Filters combine with AND logic: a lineup must match every range.

Trash is soft. A trashed lineup leaves Entries Preview, the next fill, and simulations, but it stays in the Trash accordion until you restore it or delete it. A sweep from the exposure grid runs over the whole pool, not only the lineups you see. After a sweep, Entries Preview re-picks from the lineups that remain.

Rebuild deletes the old pool and every simulation result on that build. A new build keeps the old pool on its own tab.

Tips

  • Use FilterIQ with Percentiles to cut the bottom of the pool by projection before a sim, so the sim runs faster.
  • Undo within 10 seconds when a sweep surprises you. After that, use Restore in the Trash accordion.
  • Prefer a new build over Rebuild when the pool has a simulation you still want to read.

Troubleshooting

"Failed to generate filter" : the Hero AI sentence could not be turned into filters. Rephrase it with a field name and a number.

"No lineups match {player}" : no pool lineup holds that player, so nothing was trashed.

"The pool changed. Nothing was trashed." : the build changed between your click and the confirm. Click the trash icon again.

"Could not read the lineup pool. Nothing was trashed." : the pool could not be read on this device. Reload the page and try again.

"Nothing to restore. Lineups changed after this trash; use Trash in the Lineups panel." : the Undo toast expired or the pool changed. Restore from the Trash accordion.

"Only saved lineups contain {player}. Saved lineups are never trashed." : every match is a saved lineup, which a sweep skips.
