The three-dot button in the lineups panel header opens the Lineup actions menu. It holds every action that works on the build as a whole: saving it as a playbook, uploading and downloading entries, downloading lineups, two preferences, and clearing the build's sim results.
Before you start
- You need a finished build with the lineups panel open. See The lineups panel.
Open the menu
- Click the three dots in the lineups panel header.
- Click an item.
Every item
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Save as playbook | Saves the build settings and Selection as a Playbook to run on other slates. Power plan only. |
| Replay | Opens the Contests panel so you can score this build against a settled contest. Shown once the slate has final scores. |
| Upload Entries | Opens the file picker for a DraftKings or FanDuel entries file. |
| Download Contest Entries | The file you upload back to the site: your saved entries, with entry IDs. When they differ from Entries Preview, it asks first: Fill, then export or Export as saved. Shown when an entries file is uploaded. |
| Import More Builds | Merges lineups from other build tabs on this slate into this combined build. A lineup with the same players in any slot order is one lineup, so duplicates are skipped; on a showdown slate, a different captain or MVP makes a different lineup. The tab holds at most your plan's lineup limit; the lowest-projected extras are dropped and the message says how many. Shown on a combined build when another build exists. |
| Cancel Simulation | Stops the sim that is running now. Shown only while a simulation runs. |
| Download Entries Preview | The site-ready CSV of the lineups in Entries Preview, no entry IDs. |
| Download Entries Preview (Detailed) | The lineups in Entries Preview with salary, projection, actual points, ownership, optimal, value, and sim columns, plus Paths for each contest whose sim tracked Win Paths. |
| Download Pool (Detailed) | The lineups the Pool tab shows, in the Pool's order, with the same columns. |
| Live Sync | A switch, on by default. After you press Fill once, the build keeps your entries synced with its preview. Switch it off to write your entries only when you press Fill. Shown when DFS Hero matched your entries to a contest. See Contest Setup and Fill. |
| Collapse Cards | A switch. Every card starts collapsed until clicked. |
| Clear Sim Results | Removes every simulation result from this build, after a confirm. Your lineups stay. Run Simulate to get the results back. It is the last row of the menu, and it shows only when the build has sim results. It stays disabled, with the reason under it, while other work on the build still runs. |
Select mode
The checklist icon in the Pool header and the Entries Preview header puts a checkbox on every lineup. Check the lineups you want, and a bar offers Set as entries, Remove from contest, Trash, Keep only, and under More, Copy to build and Move to build. Set as entries and Remove from contest write picks; see Set a lineup as an entry. Copy and Move send lineups to a combined build; see Combined builds.
How it works
The two entries-file actions sit apart from the lineup downloads so the file you upload back to the site is never confused with a plain lineup file. Download Entries Preview is the working set. Download Pool (Detailed) is what the Pool tab shows: the whole pool minus the trash, or what your filters leave. See Export lineups without entries.
Simulate is not in this menu. The Simulate button in the panel footer is the one place a simulation starts.
Tips
- Save a build as a playbook once its settings earn money in Replay. The playbook then runs those settings on every slate of the same sport and site.
- Use Download Entries Preview for a manual upload to the site. Use the detailed files for a spreadsheet.
- Merge two builds with different randomness settings through Import More Builds to widen a pool without a rebuild.
Troubleshooting
Replay is missing from the menu : the slate has no final scores yet, or the build has not finished. Come back after the games end.
"Waiting for the build import to finish." : Download Pool (Detailed) is disabled while an import commits. Wait a few seconds.
"No other builds available to import." : this slate has no other built tab. Build one on a new tab first.
"Playbooks are available on the Power plan" : Save as playbook needs the Power plan.
